I have been forced to make a trip to the Ivory tower in Chi town, since work has been a bitch, and heads will roll this afternoon after I am done with some people...😡

For the first time, I am going to have to delay the update perhaps into next week... I have only written one third of part 3, with little time to spare in the coming days. I will post a note with potential timing and a teaser tomorrow morning.

1. I love the sense of anticipation you bring at the beginning. These two are just so excited to be together, to finally be "official", per se 😆 It makes the reader feel excited along with them.

2. I love all the things Arnav does just for Khushi! 😆 Damn it, I wish he came on that white horse- that would truly make my day. Poor Arnav is being dragged through so many rituals just so he can get to the most important part of the wedding- the suha- er... their finally being together!

3. The camaraderie between the siblings never fails to make me smile- Anjali, Arnav and Aakash all get along so well, and I love how you show how they love each other. The little teasing, the ribbing... so much fun!

4. I love the way you carry the time left through it- anticipation!

5. Bwahahah Arnav trying to march in 😆

6. The love between Arnav, Garima, and Shashi- so well done. You've done a fantastic job showing how much they've come to love each other. Arnav regards them as his parents- and you can really see that.

7. AHHH THE MOMENT THEY SEE EACH OTHER. Di, you f***ing nailed it. I'm so impressed with this scene- I really, truly am. Even my heart was thumping, and your choice in clothes! Ahh! The way you described it! It was just perfect. So damn amazing.

8. Loved the moment where they have to tear their eyes away from each other :)

9. They are so cute! NK and Aman, I mean 😉 Lifting the big ASR 😆 Also, loved when they mouthed I love you. I like the little moments between them a lot.

10. I'm seriously in amazement with your research of these- really, really, really well done. Amazing research.

11. I also really like the tender moment between Anjali and Shyam when they recall their own wedding.

12. Oh, oh, oh. The Mangal sutra was my favorite ritual- It was fantastic. The way he lingered much longer than necessary, and Khushi's response that they don't have all night 😆 I love your one liners damnit!

13. Their gaze warm, promising each other a lifetime of love and happiness as husband and wife: Adored this line. Really, really loved this line.

14. Again- the bond between parent and child. You're so, so, so good at this relationship Di. So emotional, so heart tugging when you feel the love between them- I really like the parents and their children, together.

15. Khushi crying made me want to cry. Leaving your parents seems so, so hard- even though... a daughter is a daughter for all her life :) Arnav is right- it is a cruel bas***d.

You did complete justice to all the excitement surrounding this. Your descriptions of this event are spectacular, and I love your choice in clothing. You've done a really, truly wonderful job with this shaadi special.

I'm here to dance in the Baaraat with Adi and Arnav

What a perfect way to welcome in the New Year. With the love of your life standing in front of you, looking back at you with all the love that you have for him/her. I loved the way the two of them were just so eager to see the other. Looking utterly gorgeous, but only wanting the gaze of the other to acknowledge that. "Saajan ki nazar ke bina shringaar adhoora hota hain"

I can see how that first glimpse must have been so overwhelming. Those tears in both their eyes incredibly moving to read about. The depth of their love for each other there in ever drop that glittered unshed.

It was beautiful to see the way they grasped and accepted the significance of the pheras. Promises and vows which you know will be respected by them. Not just words uttered by the Pandit as part of a ritual.

"Uncle, I promise to always keep our life happy, and be by her side forever."

Jigs, this truly is Arnav. Just encapsulates his love for Khushi and his respect for her parents. He will always make sure Khushi and he are always there for them. I love how is so considerate of her all the time. Just there to help her in every which way, and always knowing what she needs. Be it a helping hand walking with her ornate lehenga or a reassuring touch when she is overcome with emotions. And that is why she will adjust to being his wife with elan and ease. Arnav will never let his Khushi lose her sense of self ever :)

Jigs, what do I say and how do I describe this amazing update. I wish I had a broader vocabulary to pen down the thoughts running in my mind while reading this update.

The initial desperation of Arnav and Khushi to see each other, I was desperate too to see their reactions after seeing each other.

When they had their dhak dhaks in anticipation of what is going to happen next, my heart also was going dhak dhak thinking about it.

"Sajna hai mujhe, sajna ke liye"

It is so true that unless your lover's eyes dont appreciate your beauty when you are all dressed up, the dressing up itself feels incomplete.

Forget Arnav and Khushi, seeing their beautiful attires selected by you Jigs and your description of the same, I was eager to know how Arnav would react looking at his beautiful Khushi. 😆

And what a happy moment it must have been for Khushi's parents to see their daughter all decked up like a princess waiting for her prince to come and marry her. Is it not the dream of every parent to see their daughter find the love of her life and marry him in a dream like wedding.

And as the new year countdown began, my heartbeats went a little more dhak dhak waiting for them to open their eyes and look at each other.

And then when they finally looked at each other, for me the time stood still. I wished that this amazing moment should never pass. I wished that I could capture this love (which is beyond anything in this world) always in my heart and trust me Jigs, I did. I am going to cherish this moment for my entire life. It is such amazing little moments which makes life worth living and this one surely beats many many amazing moments one would experience in their lives.

And loved the nok jhok during the varmala ritual.

The Kanyadaan ritual itself is an emotional ritual. A father handing over his daughter to someone trusting him to take care of his daughter just like he has done all these years. For Shashi, Khushi has always been his treasure and giving away his most cherished treasure to Arnav and Arnav inturn assuring him that he will always be there with Khushi, I literally had tears in my eyes after reading it and it brought back memories of my own wedding when my father did the same.

For Anjali too it must have been such a happy feeling to do the ghat bandhan, a dream come true for her too, afterall she had wished for her brother and Khushi to be together right from her friendship days with Khushi.

Meetha Arnav and his meetha actions always leaves the Strippedeans blushing and he did the same when he tied the Mangalsutra and lingered his hands a little longer on her neck enjoying touching her. 😉

When the couple took the saat phere, I thought how this couple and their love has evolved in the past few months and how they almost have followed all the vows and with each passing day, how the vows will only get stronger.

Finally with the filling of her maang, Arnav and Khushi became one for eternity.

Bidaai rituals are always too emotional. But then I know that Khushi's parents will always be with her and Arnav will make sure of it.

Now Jigs, eagerly waiting for their suhaag raat and honeymoon and lots and lots of meetha sessions. 😉
