Fellow contestants bring Arpita back to Gurukul. Watch the top four gear up for the big fight |
It's now the beginning of the end. As days pass by, the finale of Fame Gurukul is now inching closer, bringing along with it the intense pressure, competition and mounting suspense. It was evident that the fellow contestants gave a fair chance and enough encouragement to the two new contestants Mona and Sandeep, but finally opted for the stronger and older contestants. The race is now between the top four contestants, who the viewers have known and judged over the weeks. Sandeep Batra had to leave the Gurukul after having been saved earlier by the faculty and contestants. Qazi has undoubtedly been the favourite of the nation as he is back this week for the ninth time while the three contestants unanimously saved Arpita, who was in the danger zone for the first time. Interestingly, despite the fact that Ruprekha and Arpita are considered as a stiff competition, Ruprekha voted for Arpita without a doubt in mind. Similarly, Qazi also voted for Arpita in spite of being told that Arpita thinks that he doesn't deserve to be in the Gurukul. This just goes to show the clear and focused mindset of these contestants as their decision has been based purely on rationale. Javed Akhtar, the judge at Fame Gurukul had a few words of wisdom for his favorite contestant Qazi, "You have consistently had tremendous public support, blessings and votes. It is now the a crucial time to achieve higher grounds of performance and prove yourself to silence the few existing critics around." Fame Gurukul garnered a phenomenal 40-lakh votes this week, with more and more viewers getting hooked day on day. The theme for tonight's Gala is 'Remixes' and the performances by the top four contestants are sure to make you groove. The star- studded evening will see not one but four glamorous celebrities gracing the occasion. They are glam doll Alisha Chinnai, the singing sensation Shreya Goshal and Remix King Harry Anand. There is also a sizzling performance by VJ Sophie with her troupe. |
