Women generally have a hard time losing weight compared to men. And then there's also pregnancy like you said. I see fat women with skinny husbands in America too. 😆
But it's different onscreen because yo usually see too good looking people falling in love. Where in this movie the hero is ugly and skinny, the heroine is pretty but fat. 😆
