Bro-in-law Atul Agnihotri does a Salman!
Atul Agnihotri is following in brother-in-law Salman Khan's footsteps in gifting watches to those he gets khush with. The actor turned director, who is married to Saman's sister Alvira, was so happy with a song Daler Mehndi recorded for his film Hello that he gifted him a costly watch.
An excited Daler told us, "It is all Atul's big heartedness and I am deeply honoured by his gesture. But the song has genuinely shaped up very well and it is my gut feeling that it will be very popular once it is out." After the recording the Bhangra pop singer was so excited with the result that he refused to accept any remuneration for this song from Atul.

A friend of Atul added, "Atul, who was also very happy with Daler's rendition of the number, gifted him a Tag Heur watch worth Rs 3.5 lakhs out of appreciation. The song composed by Salman's current favourites Sajid-Wajid (Partner) was recently shot on a set of a pub costing Rs 1.75 crores with the entire star cast - Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif (both in special appearance), Sohail Khan, Ishaa Koppikar, Sharman Joshi, Amrita Arora and Gul Panag."
Salman has created a record of sorts in gifting watches. The chosen recipients have been Hollywood actor Will Smith, his Marigold director Willard Caroll, Shah Rukh Khan, Farah Khan, Abhishek Bachchan (post Dhoom success), Zayed Khan and the entire Sri Lankan cricket team, when they last visited India. His family members had to actually stop him from his watch gifting spree and even instructed his bodyguard and secretary to intervene whenever the beefy actor urged to go on a gifting spree.
