Yesterday's convo of Anjali -Naser reminded me of a Tamil song from Thullatha Manvum thullum.
" Tedhal ulla uyirkkalke vazhil ruchiyirukkum"
Translation: Only those people who are searching or wanting something will have a need to live.
An elusive dream, a need to fulfill an unfulfilled wish, a commitment can bring back people miraculously from death. We had all seen in avalanche epi.
So Nasir feels if he conquers Everest there is nothing more in his life to achieve. He has achieved everything, there is no need in him to live. So in a way it is better he doesn't conquer the peak, but come back again next year for Everest. Because hope will keep him alive one more year.
That is what happens, when there is hope there is life. Many a depressed soul decide to end life is because they don't have hope. They don't think something good can happen. They don't try to find out alternate ways to enjoy life.
I mean mostly linear thinking and even at the end of epi Anjali kind of told it is sometimes good to listen to your heart. Well instead of preaching it to someone it is better she does that herself.
Understand her heart's voice, understand what she wants and take decision on that. Rather than live her life to please her father.
