Hola there fellas.
So I am here cause :-
- I needed to rant
- I LOVED THE EPISODE
- Charlie is back from and and she is okay, for now. * And I love that girl*
So things I liked,
Who all had fun watching Dean eat healthy food? Cause i surely did :P
And Dean I am totally with you on the 'healthy food tastes like crap' thing *sigh*
On a serious note, staying away from drinking,actually sleeping and trying to stay focused in general. He is really trying not to mess up.
Charlie, I am SO happy to see her back from Oz.
So for the sake of refreshing the backstory,
Charlie went to Oz, where in order to win the war she had to channel her inner darkness, thus dark Charlie and good Charlie. They are essentially two part of a single person, i.e Charlie.
Also the wizard of Oz turns out to be an evil counterpart of an ex men of letters. Phew.
I liked the kind of parallels between Charlie's story and Dean with the the mark of Cain.
While Charlie is trying to keep the dark Charlie away from her, Dean is struggling to keep the darkness in him on check.
So while Charlie had to find the balance, that is keep both the good and bad inside her..that is something I guess at this point Dean will do now too, to try and control the darkness in and find a way to get it off. Plus he had what Cain never had. He has family.
While I have this huge inclination to watch Dean go dark, the way he is struggling with mark breaks my heart.
The devastated look on his face when he realized that he had almost killed Charlie, well he would have infact killed her if Sam had not come there in time.
The fear, the guilt on his face was heart breaking. The Winchesters are self loathing people in general, and this is not doing him any good.
But then like Charlie said, HE IS A WINCHESTER, he will come through, and he has his family, his brother and he has his friends.
Charlie, did I mention how happy I was to see her back ?
As much as I love Dean- Charlie moments *Yes they are love*, I also liked the Charlie-Sam time we got in this episode.
Plus Sammy hugs like this gaint teddy bear :3
And yes, CHARLIE. GETS WINCHESTER HUGS FROM SAM AND DEAN . WHY AM I NOT CHARLIE ? WHY ?
Other things,
- Celeste is a beautiful name
- Blah blah blah, repressed feelings. Blah blah blah, passive aggression." - Isn't this a good summary for the show ?
- THE TIMES DEAN CALLS CHARLIE KIDDO. #feels
and many more, but for now I need to go and study.
Overall I loved the episode <3
