Baldev's family arrived the next day with their luggage. Ranvi gave them four rooms, Baldev's room was the one with Veera's and Gunjan's on the other side, but Baldev's room was in the corner and though the next room to Veera's it was not very close.
Jaggi and Billa had relatives so they stayed there with them. Veera was hiding in her room ever since they arrived. Chaiji came to her.
Chaiji; cheechdi ye kya he? tu chup ke kyun bethi he tab se? tere sasural wale aaye hen kya sochenge kudi to neeche hi nhi aayi, chal sbke liye chai ka intizam kr jaa

Veera went downstairs and after greeting Balwant and bansuri she went inside the kitchen to make tea and snacks.
Veera served tea to everyone but baldev had not come down, he was still in his room.
Chaiji; puttar ja Baldev ko upar hi chai de aa, thandi hojayegi
Veera was hesitant but she had to obey, she walked slowly with heavy breaths and fast paced heart, She opened the door slowly and entered, Baldev was trying to adjust his stuff in the cupboard.
Veera; jee..chai
Baldev turned, he saw Veera again from head to toe, she was wearing a simple yellow shalwar kameez and her dupatta covered her front, her hair were in a braid. He came close to her.
Baldev; ese saadgi me to aap aur bhi sundar lagti hen jee
Veera blushed and lowered her eyes not knowing what to do. Baldev took the cup from her hands, their hands touched and electric sparks ran down her spine. Baldev felt awkward then, as she just stood there.
Baldev; chai bht achi banni he
Veera; thank you, main chalti hun kuch chahiye ho to bta dijiyega
Veera left. Baldev sat down on the bed.
Baldev; ye jee aap se gaadi aage kab bhade gi? kya museebat he, dikhne me phataka aur baaton se jalebi, ye kya he, ese jee jee krte krte mene to mithas se mar jana he, sher naal chuhiya nahi nahi ye to siyapa hojayega, ise meri sachai pta lagne k baad bht kuch sehna he, ye to toot jayegi kese saamna kregi.
Veera returned to her room. Amrit and Tina looked at her curiously
Veera; kya?
Amrit; room me akele? kya kya hua?
Veera; mene chai di aur chali aai
Tina caught her head with both hands.
Amrit; tu pagal he? kuch baaten hi krleti, chai khatam krne ka hi wait krleti, bechare jeeju
Tina; Veera you are a fool, ese kese chalega, tu apni understanding bna unke saath, ese chai degi kya sirf zindagi bhar
Veera; me kya karun, unke saamne me sun pad jati hun. Mujhe kuch samjh nhi aata me kya karun.
Baldev was thinking of ways to spend some time alone with her, he wanted to talk to her and know her more.
Baldev; kya karun esa jo wo bolne lage , kuch to krna hi hoga
He went downstairs and sat with Balwant.
Balwant; puttar parson hi tum dono ki sagai kr dete hen theek he?
Baldev; jee papaji..(suddenly he got an idea) papaji wo me soch rha tha ke kyun na me Veera ko anghooti pasand krwane le jaon? uski pasand ki honi chahiye na
Balwant; haan puttar changa he ye to
Chaiji; haan le ja puttar Veera aur uski saheliyon ko
Baldev made a face, he wanted privacy and her friends were accompanying.
Gunjan; me bhi chalungi veerji
Baldev; haan haan me jaggi billa ko bhi keh deta hun wo bhi chalenge, Ranvi tu bhi chal
Ranvi; nhi mujhe wada kaam he tum sb jao.
Chaiji; me veera se kehti hun tayar hojaye
Veera and her friends got ready and came outside the house where Baldev awaited. He was wearing a maroon kurta and a black jacket with black shalwar and black rayban glares covered his eyes.
Tina; Veera why are you s lucky?
Veera smiled. Gunjan came too and so did jaggi and billa.
Jaggi; paaji hum sb jeep me thusenge kese?
Baldev; tum sb peeche betho, Veera tum..aap...age beth jayie
Veera nodded , Baldev got into the driving seat and gave his hand to Veera, she caught his hand tightly and got inside the jeep, she sat down and looked at Baldev who was still holding her hand and staring. Veera moved her hand, Baldev closed his eyes and regretted doing that.
Baldev; sb beth gye?
Billa; jee paaji chalo
Baldev started the engine.
Veera; suniye, wo aapne seat belt nhi bandhi
Baldev raised an eyebrow then he faked a smile and tied the belt. He hit the accelerator and they set of for the market.
Baldev tried to look at her, she was looking straight to the road, her hands on her lap.
Baldev; (in his mind) puri foj ko sath bhej diya us chaiji ne, museebat
Amrit Tina Billa Jaggi and Gunjan were chatting constantly.
Baldev; (in his mind) ye acha he in sb ki yariyan hogai aur me hi apni hone wali voti se bat nhi kr paa rha shadi meri ho rhi he ya in sb ki, in sbka kuch krna hoga.
Baldev thought of ways to get rid of them
