When are you gonna update your works??

Hello people. I am so sorry for the delay. Actually I wrote this update in small parts whenever I got time and trust me I hate doing that because first after couple of times you loose the interest in continuing and everytime I had to read from starting just to maintain the flow further and I never felt like posting it, I really don't know why.The update is not too lengthy or too short. I stopped it on particular scene purposely lol. Hate me for that I don't mind :P. But next update will be worth reading trust me. So.. here we go

Part 19:


It was night. Kriya was upset missing her mom badly. Till night she didn't talk to her mom because she knew she will cry on phone and her mom will be worried. So she was ignoring calling her mom. Swayam, rey, nanu and even payal spoke to smriti in front of kriya assuring kriya is fine but mother and daughter duo didn't talk directly. Even smriti knew if she calls kriya, she won't be able to hold back her emotions and kriya will be worried so she too avoided talking to kriya directly.


Kriya was sitting on a bed holding her mobile, rey enters her room looking at kriya who is in deep thought, she didn't even noticed rey's presence. Kriya get startled by rey's voice


Rey : hello smriti mom. .

Yes rey has dialed smritiz number and talking to her..

Rey : me fit and fine. And (looking at kriya who is sadly watching rey) and ...everyone here doing fine (winks at kriya, kriya got his plan and throws the pillow towards rey, who smartly escaped from it and says 'bach gaya' and grins at kriya for which she glares at him simply)

Smriti : what happened rey?

Rey : wo..aa.. mom you know what, wish me good luck.

Smriti : good luck? For what?

Rey sitting in front of angry kriya says "we have got a new family member from today".

Kriya'z angry glares turn into emotional tears when she heard that sentence from rey.

Smriti too becomes emotional but controlling her emotions says "accha? But I should say congratulations to you then why this "good luck"?

Rey again in teasing mood : arre mom aap nahi janti. Aapki beti muje pillow se marti hai, dhamki deti hai and sab ke samne daant kar meri bolti band karti hai.

Kriya is shocked to listen rey's accusations. And smriti starts laughing slowly. Kriya was about to hit him with pillow but he switches on the speaker and kriya listens her moms laughs. She crawls towards rey where he is holding phone. Kriya had smile on her face n tears in her eyes..

Rey : mom you know what life is gonna be exciting with this new member of our family (still looking at kriya)

Smriti blessed him silently. She doesn't say anything in return. She just wants to listen rey speaking about kriya.

Kriya'z eyes were only on rey, trying to understand what he meant by saying all this to her mom?. Has rey accepted her already?

Rey and kriya's look-look breaks when smriti says : hmm tho rey beta ab directly puchti hoon, tell me how is she? She is not crying much right?

Rey : huh? What mom? Who crying?(coming back to present)

Kriya shakes her head at reys response.

Smriti : obviously rey, kriya. Meri bacchi..she..she is..fine right? (Trying to control her emotions)

Rey : aapki bacchi? (Still trying to realise what he said to smriti)Yeah aapki bacchi.. wo koi rone wali bacchi hai. Arre uski bas chale tho wo muje rula de. Haa.

That's it. Kriya started hitting him with pillows and rey started laughing loudly..after a minute of hitting him, when rey says sorry to kriya, she snatches his mobile from his hand and speaks

Kriya : mom aapko bhi yahi mile the mere haalchal janne ke lie?

Rey : arre..wah... ehsaan faraamosh..

Kriya hits him one more time with pillow.


Smriti : kriya..beta..relax..

Kriya : huh..yeah mom..and yeah I am fine..doing well..not crying much

Smriti : ahhaan? (Smiling wiping her tears)

Kriya : I mean, yeah I cried but now I am okay.. your favorite beta (looking at rey who grabbed kriya's hand bag from nearby table and trying to open it, kriya snatched it immediately)

Kriya : rey girls bags check nahi karte aise..

Rey : yeah I know that..that's why I am eager to know aise kya hota hai aap girls ke bag mein jo hum touch nahi kar sakte.

Kriya : girls personal cheese hote hai kabhi kabhi so you cant touch it.

Rey : personal cheesein? Huh.. 2 different shades of lip glosses, 1 lip balm, hair clip, hair band or bow wow, watever, packet of facial napkins, comb, pouch, and couple of...(*girl's monthly need, I hope you guys got it*)

Kriya shuts his mouth with her hand just to stop him to say further because she got it what he would say next.

Kriya : mom will call you back tomorrow. .go to sleep now..bye good night. Saying this kriya disconnects the call..

Now removing her hand from rey's mouth

Kriya : rey..urghhh..did you check my bag? When? Why?

Rey realizing what he was about to say and why kriya stopped him to say,

Rey : ohh. Actually. . I checked your bag when... you went to.. freshen up and.. told me to wait for you..

Kriya: haww.. Rey? And again you wanted to check it? She was fuming now..

Rey : ahh yeah..actually I didn't get why boys are not allowed to peek in girls handbags. So thought of checking it again. .

Kriya : huh..rey..seriously? Do you even realize what were you about to say if I would have not stopped you.

Rey felt embarrassed. .

Rey : umm.. sorry for that..

Kriya : and you still didn't get why girls dont allow boys to peek in our bags?

Rey got it now..slowly he realized what personal cheesein mean for girls, which they dont want boys to see..

Rey : ohhh tho ye baat hai..haha. tho this is you girls personal things? Ha I thought, he stopped his sentence looking at the deadly look kriya was giving him..

Kriya : rey leave..

What?

I said leave..

But

Leave..

Rey left slowly saying sorry to kriya..

After few minutes rey came back with two mugs of coffee. Kriya was sitting on window frame looking at sky.

Rey knocks at the door. Kriya looks at him and gives a small smile. Rey giving her a cup, sits next to her sipping coffee. Few minutes they just sit there looking outside.

Rey : mmm. Sorry for checking your bag.

Kriya chuckles and says "that's okay"

Kriya : thanks

For what?

For making me talk to mom easily. Otherwise I don't think even tomorrow we both would talk to each other. You cleared the emotional fog between mom and mine current situation.

Rey just smiles looking at her. After couple of minutes, "you will not get sleep tonight here I guess because of new place and this whole situation"

Kriya nods giving him hesitant smile.

Kriya smiles at his idea and says hesitate yet excitedly " hum aapke hai kaun? If it's okay for you?"

Rey smiles noding and immediately brings his laptop and connects it to tv in kriya's room. After few minutes he plays HAHK movie and sits next to kriya on sofa. It was 45 mins since movie started and when rey looks at kriya she was all set to sleep at any moment. In fact forcefully kriya was trying to keep herself awake. Rey smiles and waits for few more mins. After 10-15 mins kriya finally closes her eyes and goes to sleep. Rey switches off the tv. He picks kriya from the sofa and make her sleep on the bed comfortably. Kriya even murmurs a faded thanks to rey when he sets blanket on her. Switching on the bed lamp, rey left to his room.

Morning when he comes back from his gym room, he peeks into kriya's room but she was already left from the room so he goes to his room to get ready.

After few minutes, in kitchen, payal prepares a fresh fruit juice for rey and tells kriya, who was happily preparing breakfast

Payal : kriya beta can you give this juice to rey please?

Kriya says "sure mom" but the next sentence of payal made kriya to curse herself for agreeing

Payal : you know rey has this habit of having some liquid drinks after taking bath.
Kriya now recalling the incident when rey was in bangaluru, she went to give him juice like that and the scene she witnessed, kriya gulps thinking about it.

Payal without noticing kriya's nervousness, "you know rey's dad had this habbit.." by that time rey shouts from his room "mom, my juice please".

Payal : kriya please go and give juice to him beta otherwise he will shout like this continuously till he gets the juice.

Kriya nodding at payal, goes from there to rey's room. But the scene was more breathtaking this time. Rey was only in towel draped around his lower abdomen till above knees click , applying moisturizer to his hands starting from shoulder till wrists in a swift moves. Kriya gulps looking at his biceps, looking so fresh and tempting to touch. Then he starts his all time favorite deodorant Axe advertising, smirking at the expression of kriya. Actually rey saw her the moment he started applying moisturizer on his hands looking at mirror, he saw her in the mirror. That's why deliberately he applied moisturizer in smooth and seductive movements observing her in the mirror. He paid extra time on massaging the cream on his biceps and he got a satisfactory reactions from kriya, who is standing at the door and watching all his acts nervously.

Rey goes to kriya who still looking at him absent mindedly and openly checking him out. Rey smiles at the effect of his act on kriya and takes juice glass from her hand saying 'thank you'. It was then kriya comes back to her senses and realized what was she doing. But by the time she says something to rey, he already was going back to stand in front of mirror. He keeps the glass on the table taking few sips and starts combing his hair.

Kriya : mm.. wo.. then suddenly kriya watches something and says angrily "what the hell are you doing?"
