Chapter Ten

I posted Chapter 9 about an hour before I posted this, if you haven't read it, please read it here: Chapter Nine - Page 21

Sanyukta drove fast -- too fast for what he considered to be safe with her.

"Slow down," he ordered, clutching his seat tightly.

"Shut up," she replied. "You're in my car, so you have to tolerate my driving."

"Hey, I'm here against my will!" he argued.

"Randhir, just shut up," Sanyukta said, slamming hard on the breaks as she saw a red light.

"Sanyukta, this is kidnap," he pointed out.

"You have nothing better to do than look at Ferrero Rocher's Randhir, so don't complain," Sanyukta argued back.

"Oh... that was for my to be wife," he told her with a small smirk.

"Oh yeah?" Sanyukta asked, looking straight ahead, seemingly unperturbed.

"Yes," Randhir said smugly.

"Do you always go around kissing other girls when you're committed to someone else Randhir?" Sanyukta asked.

"Why do you care?" he snapped. "What I do with someone is none of my business... whether I cheat on her, abuse her, scream at her, or love her... that's between me and her. Don't interfere."

"So who am I to you Randhir?" she asked, gripping the steering wheel even more tightly.

"A nightmare from the past," he answered simply.

"A nightmare from the past huh?" she asked, sounding irritated now. "You think I'm a nightmare?"

"Not think Sanyukta Agarwal, I know," he told her.

"Oh yeah?" she asked, gritting her teeth. "I'm a nightmare Randhir Singh Shekhawat? I'll show you what it means to be a nightmare."

She slammed her breaks outside her apartment before turning off the car.

"Get out," she ordered.

Without hesitating for another moment, he got out of the car and followed her inside.

"You couldn't pick a more public place to talk?" he asked her, his eyebrow raised. "I fear for my dignity here."

She looked pissed off, and he was having a good time.

"I needed somewhere with no interruptions," she told him simply. "We haven't talked since... since that day, and no I haven't forgiven you..."

"I haven't even asked for forgiveness," Randhir said arrogantly. "And if anything, I should be forgiving you...don't turn this around on me."

"You know very well that I didn't do anything," Sanyukta said angrily.

This made him angry... this made him really angry. Despite her being at fault for what happened three years ago, she still chose to act like she was innocent?

He gripped her arm so tightly that she winced.

"Don't touch me," she snapped.

For some reason, his made him more mad.

"Don't touch you? You were one of the toppers at FITE hmm?" Randhir asked her coldly, bringing his face close to hers. "You brought me here Sanyukta Agarwal... to your place, where there's nobody but us... you should have thought about what I can do to you beforehand."

He watched as her eyes widened, seeing a side of Randhir that she had always known existed, but never truly experiencing.
