Rajkummar should interview Sonam more often. He put her on the spot twice.

1. When he says it is easier for star kids to get their first break in Bollywood. She then vehemently denies that she had it easy. Because her daddy didn't know Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

2. Asking her what is more important: talent or looks? Obviously referring to her infamous KWK comment about how 'not so good looking actors are considered better actors'. Which she says here was 'tongue-in-cheek'.

OMG gotta love Rajkumar...he really dared to ask sonam questions which most journalists wouldn't be allowed to!👏👏👏

whenever sonam is asked about her KWK comments about looks...she makes up totally new versions/stories to defend herself...she also said 'if people were smart they would have understood what i meant, but they aren't 😆😆 She really thinks she is super beautiful...she says it in every interview...and she isn't even ashamed to say it😡

I have to say, I love this girl!

Her interviews are so entertaining. I'd much rather listen to her delusional comments than others who give super diplomatic answers that make me fall asleep. 😆

She was so adamant with the whole 'my daddy didn't know SLB' and 'it took me 5 years to get my first film'. Your daddy didn't know SLB, but I'm sure SLB knew you were Anil Kapoor's daughter!

Rajkummar caught her out when he said 'At least you had a choice of directors to work with because of your dad's contacts'. He catches her out again when she says 'I don't get cast in those glamour roles were I'm bearing my midriff and dancing' by saying 'But you have done roles like that'.

😆 'My Dad didn't know SLB' - Who the fudge choreographed the Kuch Na Kaho song then.. truth is probably that knowing what a task master SLB is, Anil wanted to mollycoddle Sonam even more.
She sounds ignorant launching a big arse list of directors Anil told her to go to and then refuting she had any advantage over an outsider, glad he pointed that out.

He seems not to like her so much going by his questions and responses to her answers.
And I've never seen any actor have to clarify so much about their comments on KWK, seems like the flak really unnerved her and those inspirational quotes on instagram kuch kaam mein nahin aaye. 😆

Were there any advantages to being the child of a film star when you first started out in the business?

The reason I got to work with Mr. Bhanshali in the first place was because I am my father's daughter, but he never treated me like a kid of a star, he treated me as an individual and I respect him & love him for that. People on the set were also totally professional and quite nonchalant about our backgrounds, and we never expected any special privileges. But I do feel very privileged to be Anil Kapoor's daughter. My mother has always told me to give people the benefit of the doubt, but also not to see them with rose tinted glasses.

Well he wrote the movie and it had heavy involvement from him. I read somewhere that Farah and SLB had a disagreement since then as SLB overtook the choreography and end result was mostly influenced by him.

Also excerpt from Lata's interview:
"I remember Sanjay Leela Bhansali was present during the recording of 'Kuch Na Kaho'. Sanjay Bhansali shot the song 'Pyar Hua Chupke Se' sung by Kavita Krishnamurthy so beautifully 1942: A Love Story. If Pancham had lived he would have been so happy to see his songs used so beautifully."

Either way seems more like Sonam back tracking from her statements to save face like she always does. 😆
