Sorry for being late friends.. I was just busy in some problem... So here is the update..
Part 20Madhu woke up the next day with a slightly heavy head. It wasnt aching exactly but she felt it too heavy to balance it. She moved trying to sit up taking support of the bed rest. She was rubbing her eyes as she tried to accustom herself to the morning. As she opened her eyes she saw her shoes lying unkemptly near the window. Seems like she was too tired yesterday. She laughed slightly but just then she noticed her top fallen at the other end.
Her eyes started growing wide as she one by one saw her clothes lying on the floor and to her horror they seemed the ones that she had worn the day before. With a fallen jaw and popping out eyes she lifted the blanket that was clung to her as she looked at herself.
What she feared the most was right infront of her eyes. But to her relief the shorts were still at their place. But who knows whether they were there all night or not?! She hurriedly looked around for RK but he was nowhere to be seen. That's when she heard the sound of water splashing in the washroom. Why was he taking a bath? That too early morning? She tried remembering but all that was coming to her mind was that she needed to put all those lying down clothes at their correct places and that was on herself.
After sometime RK came out of the washroom as he rubbed his wet hair with towel. "Good Morning Biwi.." he said in an ever too sweet tone which made Madhu even more suspicious.
She was now sitting at the edge of the bed with all her clothes back on. "Why..? Why were you bathing?" She asked him hesitantly.
"All good and hygienic people bath.." RK said to her in a calm tone.
"Shut up Rishu.. you know why I am asking.." she snapped back.
"No Madhu I dont know.." he replied back confidently.
"What happened last night..?" She asked finally.
"Leave it Madhu.. lets forget about it.." he said putting his towel on the chair.
"How can I forget..? I need to know what happened." She replied agitated.
"Madhu.. I have no complaints from you.. and neither any accusations.." he said looking away.
"Complaints?! Accusations!" She said to herself. "What have I done?" She was baffled.
"Okay fine.. only because you want to know.." he said in a serious tone. Madhu looked at him expectantly as he came and sat beside her.
"You.. you were so drunk last night.. i dont know what came over you that you.." he stopped midway nervously.
"I what Rishu?" She asked him agitated.
"You forced yourself on me.." RK said looking away.
Madhu was confused to the core. Did he mean to say that she raped him? Could she do that? Madhu thought to herself as the weirdness of the idea filled her mind.
"I dont know what that drink did to you.. you were so different.." RK said in a shaky voice and walked to the window as Madhu sat there trying to comprehend everything.
"I was sitting on the bed and then you came and started touching me.. I refused more than once but then you kissed me.. and..." he stopped at that as he looked out of the window.
Hearing that, Madhu remembered the scene where she had poked her hand in his shirt and then was nibbling on his jaw. She closed her eyes in mortification.
"I am so sorry..." she said as tears started welling up her eyes.
RK stood where he was like a statue.
"I am so sorry Rishu.. I dont know what happened to me.. I was so lost.. I can't believe I did that.." she said as guilt took over her. "Please don't hate me.." she said and tears started rolling down her eyes.
That was way too much for RK to handle. He burst into laughter as he turned back. Already his voice had been shaking due to the laugh. Madhu looked at him baffled. He still laughed as he sat on the chair at the side.
"I can't believe you bought that crap " he said as the laughter died down.
He came to sit beside her on the bed.
"You mean I didn't rape you.?" She asked hopefully.
That made RK break into a laugh again. "Yeah sure.. Do you think you can rape me?" He asked while still laughing.
She sighed in relief. "Ohh..thank God... you scared me.." she said. "But then what happened last night.. I do remember forcing you.." she asked confused and hesitant.
"yes.. you did force me into it but then I lead and you followed.." he said in a hushed tone.
"What.. did I follow?" Madhu felt hypnotized again.
"My commands.." he said tucking her hair behind her ear.
She couldn't say another word as she tried remembering but couldn't.
"You mean? We..." she couldn't complete her sentence.
"Luckily for you.. I am a nice man.." he said getting back to his normal tone. "So before you could take it any further I commanded you to sleep.."
Madhu sighed in relief hearing him as she closed her eyes. So ultimately they didn't cross all the barriers and it made her feel relaxed.
"Now go and freshen up.." RK said in a straightforward tone suddenly.
Madhu smiled as she nodded her head and went off. After she went away RK closed his eyes in pain. What he feared was the truth.. She would have felt guilty over their relation if he hadn't stopped at the right time.
After sometime they were having breakfast and after a while of an awkward silence Madhu decided to break it.
"You know Rishu.. you shouldn't have taken drinks yesterday.." she said acting casual.
RK looked at her baffled.
"Yeah.. One of us should have been in senses.. You know what I mean.." she said.
"I wasnt drunk.." RK said shrugging.
"You weren't??" Madhu exclaimed surprised. "Even then we did..." she stopped as she couldn't bring herself to complete the sentence. "How.."
"Madhu.. I am a normal Male.." he said as if telling a new fact. "What do you expect from me when you get all over me and as you said almost attempt a rape.." he said exasperated. "Thank God I work out daily." He said naughtily.
Madhu looked at him for a few seconds and then buried her face in the plate. A lone tear escaped her eyes as she kept herself busy in her plate. RK saw her crying and closed his eyes as he felt the pain and frustration. He was thinking that she was accepting their marriage and even she behaved that way then why was she regretting the plausibility that their marriage could have taken another step forward.
The day went uneventful with them talking occasionally only if it was something important. Madhu would look at him every now and then and she would feel her cheeks getting the extra rush of blood. While RK mostly chose to ignore her as he was annoyed with her behavior. First it was her who approached him and now she was the one showing attitude over it and not talking to him properly. But on the other hand Madhu was in her own dilemma. At one instant she would eye his arms imagining how she would have felt when she was wrapped around with those, or she would look at his eyes remembering that passion that was filled in them last night. For RK's behavior, she was too sure that he was feeling inhibited to talk to her after what happened between them. When it grew dark, Madhu realized that it had practically been the whole day since they properly had a conversation even though they stayed in the room.
"Hello Bittuji.." she heard RK talk on the phone.
"Hello Chief.. How are you?"
"I am fine Bittuji.."
"And how is Bhabhiji..?"
"Your Bhabhi ji is good too" he said eyeing Madhu. "Did you call me to ask that?"
"No Chief.."
"Good that means you have something that I should be told about.."
"Yes Chief.. Do you remember K&M corp.?"
"Yes.." RK said with narrowed eyes as he tried to remember that. "Isnt it the company that we used to work some time back?"
"Yes Chief... we used to get a good amount of orders from them. But then it has been dormant since the last 2 and a half years.." Bittuji filled him in.
"Okk so whats with it?"
"Its closing down chief.."
"Ohh" RK said getting surprised. "Were they in some loss?"
"No chief.. there hadn't been much work in it since 2 years.. and no loss.. maybe it was an extension of some other company."
"No Bittuji.. It was a cooperative.."
"Yes Chief right.."
"Anyways Bittuji.. Its not important... so is there something else I should know of?"
"No Chief.. everything else is under control."
"Good.. We can hang up now.. Enough talking to you.."
"Yes chief.." Bittuji hung up with a slight laugh.
Madhu was looking at him intently all through his conversation. He had a longer conversation with Bittuji than they both had shared in this whole day. She felt an urge to talk to him now.
"What? Are you planning to hypnotize me with your stare? Let me tell you.. you are bad at that.." RK said turning to her as he was feeling awkward with her gaze fixed at him.
"No.. Amm.. I wanted to ask.. What was Bittuji telling?" She asked trying to have a good conversation that won't remind him of the last night so he could feel comfortable.
"Why is that interesting you?" RK asked with an awkward face as to what suddenly happened to her.
"No.. actually you seemed upset about something.." Madhu said not liking his tone and she looked away. He was talking to Bittuji much more nicely than this. It's fine that he was feeling awkward over what she did last night but then even he loves her. What's the big deal if she approached him and tried to kiss him. He might not be ready but that doesn't mean that he would feel so uncomfortable with her.
RK realized that Madhu felt bad. Even he felt that he sounded a bit rude. He got up from the couch and came to sit on the other side of the bed.
"One of our old associate company is closing down.." he said to her in a much softer voice now.
Madhu immediately looked at him. "Ohh..Were they something important?" she asked trying to prolong the conversation.
"Nope.. Not since the last few years.. But yes.. There was a time when we did get quite a lot of orders from them.. especially when we had some difficult times."
"Ohh... its bad they are going down.." she said looking down.
" Hey.. You never told me about your time when you were away.. How did you go to Berlin?"
"OH. You want to know all that?" RK asked with a slight laugh.
"Yes!" She said sitting up excitedly. "I need to know like everything about you.. How will I be your best friend if I won't know something that important?" She said exasperated as she even remembered it herself.
RK broke into a laugh..
"Come on Rishu... i am serious.." she insisted as she thought he was taking it as a joke.
"Ok fine.." RK replied.

and the next update would be a flashback of RK's struggling days as Neha had asked.. 😃
