Hey guys! First of all I am really very sorry for not continuing this FF for so long. I was actually thinking to discontinue as I have lost track and you all must have forgotten the story but then seeing your request to continue made me think about my decision again and I have decided to continue. I must clear one thing that I won't be able to give much time due to my 1^st year exams approaching closer. I hope I receive the same love and welcome as I used to get before.

Before I start I request you guys to again read the last part as you must have forgotten the story for sure.

CHAPTER 10

Anant sat on the sofa and opened his laptop. He started making his presentation but within no time got lost in her thoughts. He remembers their first encounter on their wedding night when their eyes met for the first time, their taking a promise together for starting their relation as friends, her falling in his arms, their small cute hug, their giving gifts to each other, their having dinner together in the restaurants and finally those intimate moments which they spent few minutes before.

"What will she think about me now? I broke our wedding night's promise. Will she forgive me?" Anant sighed at the thought. His eyes widen to find his document filled with Navya' written on it. He has typed her name several times unconsciously.

"Tumse dur jaane ka mann nahi karta, pass aane ka mann karta hai par pass aake darr lagta hai ki kahi tumhe kho na du." He closed his eyes.

Navya was turning sides to get some sleep but all she could think about was only him. She remembers when she became possessive for him seeing him with Kanika followed by her spending less time with him due to her hectic office schedule then about those moments which she spent with him few minutes before.

"Jab pass aane ki koshish karti hu tab dur chale jaatein ho aur jab dur chali jaati hu tab pass aane ki koshish karte ho." She closed her eyes in a dilemma.

The next morning, Anant was sitting on the breakfast table reading a newspaper but his mind was far somewhere else as he was reading the same line from past 15 minutes.

Navya was preparing tea and coffee respectively but she was lost as well. She kept the cup of tea infront of him and sat down on the opposite chair with her cup of coffee. Anant peeked slightly above his newspaper to find her dressed in a white colored chudidaar kurta looking more beautiful than every day.

As Navya sensed him looking at her, she quickly looked at his side to find him shifting his gaze sideways and back on the newspaper.

"Can't he speak first?" Navya thought.

"She can also speak first. Why should I?" Anant thought as he read the same line for the 16^th time.

Both looked at each other at the same time. Both wanted the conversation to begin as they can't tolerate each other's silence.

"Vo" "Vo" They spoke together.

"Have your tea" "Have your coffee" They spoke together again.

Both of them burst into laughter. For a second they forgot about yesterday and laughed whole-heartedly. Anant stopped laughing seeing her laugh; she looked like a small girl laughing from her heart.

"I don't know what I feel for her. All I know is that I can do anything to see that smile on her face." Thought Anant as a small smile crept on his lips.

"Hey Navya, can you just a type a letter. Sir asked me to do so but I have just painted my nails" Said Appy sitting beside Navya on her work-desk. She showed her pink pained nails and made a baby face.

"Mad you are, give." Said Navya as she shook her head with a smile.

"Thanks. I'll just dictate to make your work easy" Said Appy.

She started dictating a within a few minutes Navya completed it.

"Yeah that's it. So show me the letter." Said Appy as Navya turned the laptop towards her.

Her brows narrowed reading something with a sly smile.

"Erhmm Navya.. I told you to write Mr. Armaan wants to merge his company and see what you wrote"

Navya read the line and blushed slightly.

"Mr Anant wants to merge his company." Appy said aloud for her.

"Ahem ahem love is in the air" Came Rits with an equally sly smile and sat beside them.

"Guys stop it. I just did it by mistake." Said Navya looking down.

"Really? Seems like something happened yesterday. You are blushing too much today." Winked Appy.

"Yeah I also noticed you are lost somewhere from the morning itself." Said Rits.

Navya recalls that moment again and a fresh blush appeared on her cheeks.

"Someone is blushing more hearing the word yesterday'" Appy nudged her elbow slightly.

"You guys have no work to do right but I do so bye." She shooed them away from her desk and sat down lost in Anant's thoughts.

"Ball party?" Asked Anant confused.

"Yeah ball party. Anant, you forgot, every year a ball party is organized for the office staff. We always become partners so this year, get ready to be my partner again." Kanika smirked.

"No." Anant said as he stood up "This year we won't be partners because this year I have my partner."

Kanika fumed hearing this. Anant hardly bothered and started walking out of his cabin but stopped listening to her.

"But only office staff is allowed"

"This year there won't be only office staff but their better halves as well." Interrupted Mr. Kunal Kapoor, a middle aged man in a formal suit. He was the boss of Anant's company.

"Yes every year the bachelors have a great fun but what about our married guys and ladies? They also want to dance with their life partners. So from this year onwards, our ball party becomes grand as my office staff can bring their wives, girlfriends along with them." Grinned Kunal.

"Thank You sir." Smiled Anant.

"Uh Anant, don't be so formal. You are one of my best employees. This much I can do." Kunal smiled as he patted Anant's shoulders with pride.

They both walked out leaving a fuming Kanika behind.

"That down market is going to dance with my Anant. I will make sure that this ball party becomes a memorable one for her." Smiled Kanika evily.

"TING TONG" The doorbell rang. Navya opened the door to find Anant standing.

"How come you came so early?" Asked Navya with a surprised smile.

"There was not much work in the office today." Said Anant.

Navya nodded and stepped aside to give him way to enter.

"You go freshen up meanwhile I bring tea for you." Smiled Navya and went to the kitchen. Anant too followed her.

Navya heard his footsteps and turned back.

"You want anything?"

"Uhh Navya" He brought a brown packet infront of them and handed it to her.

"This is for you. Actually there is a ball party at my office tomorrow. I want you to wear this." Smiled Anant and went from there.

Her mouth turned a perfect O as she opened the packet and saw the dress.
