Chapter Four

"Hi... Randhir" was the text he got that that night. He couldn't recognize the number, so he texted back, "Who is this?"

An instant reply came.

Sanu.

Randhir replied: Oh... Parth told me about you. He wants me to meet you.

She replied: Yes... you look handsome in your picture.

Randhir replied: Handsome? Thanks... I'm sorry but I don't know how you look Sanu.

Her reply: Don't worry, you'll see me tomorrow. Is that okay? Tomorrow at 4 PM in Cafe Sunrise?

Randhir replied: Sure, sounds good... see you tomorrow...

Randhir put his phone on the side and sighed. This girl, Sanu, her name sounded a lot like Sanyukta and Randhir didn't like that. But, he knew that he couldn't be such nitpick about it... after all, he was sure to find flaws or similarities like this in every girl he encountered.

She seemed nice though, so Randhir had to give her that, although they had only exchanged a few texts, and that wasn't enough to decide if she would be the right life partner for him by.

The next day at 4 PM, Randhir reached Cafe Sunrise after making sure to groom himself. Parth would probably be happy seeing him like this: shaved, with his hair gelled, and dressed decently.

After sitting down at his reservation, he waited for a few minutes with his hand holding a glass of water, when a soft hand brushed over his. All of a sudden, it felt like a surge of electricity passed through his spine. The feeling was familiar, warm, and above all... nice.

He looked up to see who it was: it was a girl whose back was now turned to him. She was wearing a red kurti top and black leggings.

Then she walked forward, and Randhir watched her until she disappeared.

As soon as she disappeared, he couldn't control the smile that lingered on his face... it was as if good times were coming for him, and he liked this feeling. Maybe he was finally moving on.

Randhir waited an hour, but Sanu didn't show up. Finally, a bit irate, he gave up on waiting and went back home. As soon as he got home, his phone lit up: I'm so sorry Randhir, I came but I couldn't find you... my phone was dead too, so I couldn't text you... sorry!

Randhir calmed down... this was okay, it was an honest mistake, perhaps they could re-schedule. His mind automatically drifted back to the girl with the red kurti top, and he immediately asked her: What were you wearing?

Her reply came quickly: A red Kurti top, black leggings

Before Randhir could calm his mind down, he messaged her impulsively: I want to marry you.
