For ranting when I am not dopey on meds.😆

Edit:

The episode was a mixed bag for me. Like your title suggests, the entire episode was rather about what was not said, rather than what was.

Raman is trying to fool himself into believing that everything is fine and Mihir rightly corrects him. I don't really understand what the reality check would be for him - his wife was called negligent then her self respect was marred. If those have not become his breaking point, what will be?

In his pursuit of becoming a father, he's losing his relationship with his wife. And for me, if he doesn't step up to the plate in the coming episodes, RKB is going to die for me. I've ranted so much about this character in the past few thread, G, that I'm gonna leave it at that today.

Raman is not blinded in Adi's love - he knows exactly when he's wrong. He chooses not to do anything about it - Adi is not going to Mars, for heaven's sake, so it's not a "majboori" - so he doesn't get any sympathy from me.

Ishita - I feel for her nowadays. She's landed herself in a soup by being a doormat to her in laws and they have no qualms walking all over her. The one person she CAN be mad at - her husband - she is giving him silent treatment - AND BOY - that look. The silent treatment is gonna go on in the Lohri function too as per the SBS video and I give her a thumbs up for that. This time around, Toshi and Raman are responsible for Shagun's presence and as seen in the last two episodes - Ishita cannot say anything to her without being demeaned or reprimanded. Ruhi is going to be her trump card, if Adi is Shagun's. The question is, is Raman going to be righteous, or going to go all GKC with his mother.

Shagun needs to amp up her acting because Anita is clearly failing in the midst of actors like Karan and Divyanka. Even Ruhi gives more expressions than this seasoned actor, which is just plain sad.

Amma was the star of the day and Ruhi is going to be the one tomorrow.

For Ruhi - God! I missed her. According to TOI, she's shooting only a day or two a week nowadays, which may be the reason behind her absence on on screen.

But this girl - she comes on screen and does something that most adults in the house failed to see. Toshi and co may go GKC, but this one is all the way with her Ishimaa. "Main aapse kabhi sorry nahi bulvaungi." That got to me - I hope it gets to Raman too, and he sees all the injustice going on in the household.

Sorry for the long and disoriented post. Didn't get the time today. I'll be back tonight and this time I'll have gifs😆.

Loved the collages and the thoughts <3
