Were those fake tears? or genuine?

So from the precap it seems like he was crying because ali said something very bad to him.

1. Pritam - never trust this guy! I'm surprised he didn't stand up for him. he has ditched karishma and now gautam. True colors coming out.
2. Rahul - gautam went against karishma and fully supported rahul. what did he get? nothing! rahul didn't stand up for him.
3. Sambhavna - she was just having fun and didn't feel the need to speak up.

now my question is, what he really hurt? and were his tears genuine or fake?

If he was really hurt, then I feel for him because his friends betrayed him and ali needs to stay in his diaper and stop being rude.
I felt for karishma when pritam ditched her! and I feel for gautam today ONLY because his friends didn't stand up for him
if karishma and upen didn't stand up for him, its fine because he has been talking about them behind their back and he never called them his true friends.

He could be faking it for sympathy and camera because we all have seen his acting skills and hes good at it. He had fake tears in his eyes during a task where karishma and gautam had to dance on samjhawan.
If not karishma, I'd want gautam to win. But i still haven't understood him and dont know if these tears were fake to get sympathy and play victim card once again or if the tears were real.

if non karishma fans can ask if upma are fake, I can ask if gautam's tears were real or fake because I can see genuine feelings in upma but I'm so confused about gautam.
