Black wasnt original. that's all i have to say. she did a decent job in Black. the aayesh kapoor girl was 30x better.
lolz...exactly the problem with us..when a good film is made,,, we shout out "Its not original" n then we critisise Indian Cinema..why cant we appreciate a good piece of Work???🤢😕
anyways...Back to the ppint..Rani did a terrriffic job in Black..she gave life to her character definitely her best till date. I too think she deserved a National award but I havent seen Parzania yet so cant comment actually on who is most deserving
I am afraid she did not. Rani was strictly OK in Black. If there was anyone who deserved an award in Black, it was that little girl who played Rani's younger version in the film. Rani should have taken acting lessons from that kid - Ayesha Kapoor had the same role, with even more complexities considering her mental anguish at not being able to do anything, and she did it like a pro.Not even for once did Ayesha looked deranged. She looked what she was playing - deaf, dumb, mute and rebellious. Not for once did she look mentally unstable while almost all through the film,(barring a few scenes) Rani looked retarded.
Yet not once do I hear Bansali praising that young kid.Being a star helps I guess.
I agree the little kid did a much better job and i think she was in the movie for longer.
