Hey Guys,

Chapter 6

Priya and Krishna's son are in Mysore at the conference. Priya is excited about her presentation on Monday Afternoon. Krishna's son is excited about learning new things and speaking to people who might be useful to his company.

Sunday Morning at the conference. At the registration area.

Ajay: Good morning Priya.

Priya: Morning Ajay. Did u get the registration done?

Ajay: Yeah. I got done. I have a talk I have to go to. Will catch up with u later.

Priya: Ok.. Have fun... enjoy the knowledge overload...

Person behind the desk at the registration area

Person: Excuse Ma'am. Can I have your registration email?

Priya: Sure. Here it is.

Person: Thanks Dr Priya Sharma. Just a moment. She hands her Conference ID card and makes it clear to have it with her all times during the conference and she requires this to enter the conference.

Priya: Thanks. I will keep that in mind. Can you please direct me to Hall A?

The person gives her direction and Priya heads to Hall A for a small 10 min talk in that session.

Meanwhile, as Priya enters Krishna's son stops at the registration area.

Person: Good morning Sir. Can I help with your registration?

Krishna's son: Morning. Thanks. Here is my email printout.

Person: Thanks Mr Ram Kapoor. Welcome to this conference. Please keep this ID on you all times. It is also required to for entering the conference. Looks like you are replacing your colleague Mr Shergill.

Ram: Thanks and Yes, he could not make it due to unavoidable circumstances. My company has a stall and I am expecting somebody from my company to come here this morning. Can you tell me if Mr Abhay Singh is here from K&S pharmaceuticals?

Person: Sure Mr Kapoor. He has already arrived and left a message for you. Here it is.

The message has details about the location of the Stall and left his mobile number.

Ram: Thanks. I am a Panelist on this topic and during this session. Can you guide me to this location?

The person gives him directions. Ram messages Abhay that he will stop by after the Panel discussion. Also requests him to set it up and let him know if he needs anything.

Ram reaches the destination with no issues. He is early as usual. Listens to the other talks/ presentations and relaxes for his discussion. Meanwhile both Ajay and Priya are busy getting knowledge overload.

Ajay, messages Priya

Ajay: Priya, Ell idya? (wherz u- kannada), done with that talk?

Priya: Q& A session going on. Was an OK talk. Nothing that helps me.. What's up?

Ajay: Ok. I am heading to a panel discussion about R&D at Pharma companies and funding. I really think you should attend it. It is in Hall F, Room 2 in 5 Mins

Priya: Oh ok.. I am in Hall A. I will be there but 5 mins late. Just Msg me where in the room u are. I will join u.

Ajay: I will stand at the back... You can join me. I don't think we can get seats.. already late.

Priya: Ok. See u soon.

Ajay heads to the panel discussion where Ram is a panelist and Priya is headed there. Ajay reaches the room after all the introductions are over. Keeps looking at the door to see if Priya comes. But then gets involved in the discussion. Priya joins him halfway through the discussion. She is shocked at seeing the panel...Ajay sees this expression of Priya and... whispers to her

Ajay: En aithu? (what happened- Kannada) Looks like that you have seen a Ghost or something.

Priya: En illa kano (Nothing- Kannada)...

Ajay: No way Priya... Bolo...

Priya: Ok.. You remember flat tire incident, on my way here?

Ajay: Oh... Your crush??? ...

Priya: Not my crush and all... Anyway, he is a panelist in this discussion...there.. the mota guy... second from the left... I can't believe it...

Ajay: I am going to enjoy this conference... I do not know his name either.. Got here a bit late... Everybody here are calling him RK... Shall I find out more...

Priya: Sumanne irro (Keep quiet- Kannada). You are disturbing the discussion and me... He is not my crush and all...

Ajay: Ok... You can continue to dream about him...

Priya: Ajay... ufff...

Both Priya and Ajay continue to listen to the discussion. Q&A session opens up. Priya has some questions, but decides not to ask.. as she may have missed that part of the discussion earlier... Ajay also comes up with a question to RK and Ram answers it very well. Priya feels bad that she treated this RK person badly yesterday.. Discussion is done.. Ajay teases her a bit. Ajay says, he has another session to go to.. Priya is hungry and decides to go have lunch.

Priya is looking at the vegetarian options at the Lunch buffet. Picking up food from the buffet she bumps into Ram...

Priya: Sorry...

Ram: I am sorry...

Suddenly, both realize who they bumped into...

Priya: Nevu.. (You- Kannada) ...

Ram: What?? .. does not understand Kannada... Puzzled..

Priya: Something just happens to her when she sees this guy... She gets angry Oh No... Can you not see and take your food...

Ram: I can say the same... I can't believe that you are here... Mutters Khadoos... My day is done.. having seen her... He is annoyed... and just starts to turn the other side and continues to fill his plate with food...

Priya sees this and she goes... Aane.. (Elephant - Kannada) Forget it Priya... I guess this guy... though has knowledge and speaks well.. but is arrogant... And Ajay thinks I have a crush on her... Just then...

Ajay: Priya, the lunch buffet looks delicious... What happened? You seem to be puzzled...

Priya: En illa kano, ade ( Nothing, same- Kannada) same guy... bumped into him... there he goes... RK... pfff..

Ajay: Priya... Kuch to hua hain Kuch ho gaya hain...

Priya: Got some more material...Enough... I am hungry...I am going to find a table to sit and eat... You join me...

Ajay and Priya enjoy their lunch... Meanwhile, Ram finds a table far away and quietly enjoys his lunch. He is disturbed by a call by Vikram.

Vikram: Hi Ram, Kaiso ho? How is the conference going?

Ram: I am alright. Conference was going great... Had a great panel discussion.. Having lunch now. Plan is to go to the stall this afternoon.

Vikram: Sorry... did I hear it right that the conference "was" going great??? Kya kua?

Ram: Arey chodna... ek ladki ne pareshaan karke rakhi hain...

Vikram: Ek minute... Ladki... Kaun hain... Tell me the whole story

Ram: Arey... Chod na... uske baare main... kuch nahi bolna hain mujhe...

Vikram: No way... Tujhe bolna hi padega..

Ram: Tu tho chodega nahi...Teek hain.. Suno...

Ram starts with the encounter with Priya and the flat tire episode...

Vikram: Just hearing this... Vikram starts laughing loud... Neha hears this... and asks what's happening??? Vikram just brushes her away saying later... So... She declined your help... Lol...

Ram: Stop laughing yaar... Tub hi na...

Vikram: I can't... This is hilarious... Then what happened? That's it? How can that cause trouble in conference?

Ram: Bol raha hoon. Ram explains... the lunch incident to Vikram

Vikram: Ram... I wish I was there...

Ram: I am glad you are not here... Otherwise... Anyway I am actually surprised to see her here... And guess what I saw her at the panel discussion event as well... So I am sure that she is well educated.. and all... But the way she behaved with me... Unacceptable... Ram never mentions to Vikram about the thoughts he had just before he slept about this girl...

Vikram: Ok... Chod... You enjoy the rest of the day.. will catch up with u in the evening... Here things are fine at work. Neha is doing better. Need to discuss something regarding work... Call me after ur done with your day... Bye

Ram: Ok.. Chal .. bye.

Ram finishes his lunch and heads to his stall... Priya and Ajay looks at the agenda for the day and continue to attend some more talks...
