Praneet talks about his Bigg Boss journey & meeting Salman Khan

Praneet Bhat made a dramatic entry in the "Bigg Boss" house. The actor entered the show enacting a scene from his epic TV show "Mahabharat" where he played the role of Shakuni. He got evicted after spending 92 days in the controversial show. In an exclusive interaction with Pinkvilla, he talks about his stay in the "Bigg Boss" house and meeting Salman Khan.

Praneet said the experience from the show has made him more mature and calm.

"I stayed there for 92 days. You are locked inside one place, in a restricted area, for so long, I think it is one of the biggest reality shows. Then you need to do tasks to get food, you get a limited food supply, and if it's over you won't get it again until the next cycle. So we have stayed hungry and without salt," he said.

"80 cameras are watching you and you are living with people whom you don't even know, and they all are masters in their own field. So staying with such people for 90 days has evolved me. I have become more mature and calm," he added.

The TV star said that he accepted to go on the show because he had a dream of meeting Salman Khan. He added that earlier he was just a Salman fan, but after meeting him he has realised what a great human being he is.

"My dream was to meet Salman Khan. I am a crazy fan of Salman since childhood. So when I got this offer my friends said, this is a controversial show, why do you want to do it?'. I said Salman sir is there' and I accepted the offer and met him. We used to get positivity from him, he used to make us understand things with his experience, knowledge and aura," he said.

Praneet also shared that the superstar used to get home cooked food for the contestants every Saturday.

"Bigg Boss 8" went on air on September 21, 2014, with 15 contestants. Five contestants - Gautam Gulati, Karishma Tanna, Dimpy Mahajan, Pritam Singh and Ali Quli Mirza -from the show were declared champions and they were joined by ex-contestants cum challengers - Rahul Mahajan, Mahek Chahal, Sambhavna Seth, Sana Khan and Ajaz Khan. The show, which is being called "Bigg Boss Halla Bol", is hosted by Farah Khan. Upen Patel has also joined the contestants.
