Congrats team. I have a query. Can someone clarify. What is the criteria for ensemble cast award. Is it that every character has a well defined role irrespective of major or minor. Asking because I saw comment in some other forum how did Everest get it and it was also mentioned it is a flop show.

Well maybe from the perspective of TRP number it may be true, but I cant agree to it story wise.

Ensemble cast means a cast where all characters have equal screen time and importance. And so the award goes to casting director.

Everest has high profile names in the cast and all have good roles..so they are deserving despite low trps...

I dont get this trp business at all.everest gets a trp of 1.5 whch is good for such a off beat show with newcomers!! Whats the big deal...??

Also ensemble cast award is more like a technical award... So its fair enough...

Thank you bright-star. Well then Everest deserves it because the show is not running based on a single character. Every character is placed well in the show and there are no redundant characters.
