shruthi i didnt compare the characters

i compared the situations

just to show DILs are always DILs and they can never be treated as daughters

though the movie was done long long back

the situations are still the same even today

Ramadi CVs have heavily borrowed from tamil movies whether it is mouna ragam for initial SURYA romance, then roja for hijack track and maybe samsaram oru minsaram for current track.

But unfortunately all the above movies had inspirational female leads portrayed by Revathy, Madhu and Lakshmi but DABH made a mess out of the inspirational qualities of these movies.

Mouna Ragam has Divya finally telling. I would have gone if you didn't like me, but I know you like me and today I am telling keeping aside all feminine coyiness that I love you

Roja I don't have to tell the way Madhoo walks upto the terrorist and speaks to him telling I want my husband or shouts at the minister what if it was someone near to you, boldly tells her relatives she will not come back till she gets her husband released. Alone in an unknown place Roja battles.

Samsaram oru Minsaram I don't have to tell. It's a beauty in itself and Lakshmi was simply awesome.

None of the ladies were IPS or anything. They were normal especially Roja. But the fiestness, courage, decision making they bought into the character unfortunately CVs couldn't bring into the IPS aspirant and current ASP Sandhya Rathi.

shruthi character is different from the actors

are you referring deepika or sandhya

if you are comparing the actors then i dont think actors like revathy , lakshmi can be compared to deepika who is doing her first ever show

if you are referring about the character

i dont think she left any stone unturnd to save bharaj

she may have failed in mask mission but she def saved them from gun shots,

and that is what an ips wife can do the best

she has been bold, courage IPS officer

just because she is enduring all the taunts and ill treatment of RP doesnt mean she is a coward

she is at a higher level and doesnt care for the selfish RP

remember what she said to ankur

she knows to respect relationships,

sometimes we expect too much from a daily soap which runs for years together when compared to 2 hrs movie

I am only referring to character not actors. You simply cant compare actors I know. Ramadi whether it is movie or soap inspirational aspect is inspirational aspect and to expect inspiration from soaps is not nothing new.

Saving someone from gunshots doesn't make you inspirational. Yes a police officer has to do it. Inspiration is when you go beyond, when you stand up, when you ask thought provoking questions without thinking what society will think about you.

All the characters in those movies do that. They are not IPS, they are simple woman. Relation is not about suffering humiliation, relation is about taking decision and asking questions when needed. Lakshmi's character in samsaram oru minsaram does that. She is a simple house wife. She also doesn't break any relation but raises some question and takes a good decision. She doesn't lose her self respect for maintaining relations. But she makes others value her asking the right questions.

I was never a fan of saas bahu sagas and will never be. It was the characterization of Sooraj that bought me to DABH as that was the reason for the beautiful love story.

Ramadi I don't watch DABH anymore, not even read WU. But cant help peep in some topics here and put my view though I am trying to come out of that habit also. Soon I will do that, though it will take some time.

Reason I hate negativity and don't want to put negative views because the story has not progressed as I expected or it is no longer inspirational for me. So till then bear with me. You wont get anything positive from me as far as Sandhya goes or CVs attempts to glorify Sandhya , Bhabo or Bharaj.
