Shobha - Naiive, Stupid or Coward??

Gosh, My heart went out to Vikram, the episode really brought tears...

I have reservations against Shobha's character. But maybe this is reality! People do not like to come out of relationships in our society since it is so complicated. we all just take the easy route. To her right now going back to samarth is the easy route. After all he is the father of her kids. But if you think about it - you dont become a father just by giving your genes. Shobha has to realize that! Maybe the charcater is like that! described by her friend as 'forever in denial" until something shake her out of it!

I believe some 20 years back the behaviour of Shobha would have been acceptable but women of today has more self esteem, either she is living in an era alien to us or she is a coward that's all. I hope this Shobha Samarth thing does not last long and Shobha realises her mistake very soon.

Yes completely unacceptable for Shobha to go back to that cheating husband.. She has made herself strong independent for the very reason that she can lead a life on her own terms why should she go back why coz the kids biological father are the kids of the kids , they also need to know yes at this stage it cannot be told to them but there are many such kids who are separate from their parents yet they grow well & become good individuals , a mother giving good values can make up for both parents should could have stood there & defended her self and answered her reasoning to Vikram why shud I go back to that man.
Somewhere I cannot sympathize with Shobha accepting herself to go back.. Vikram gavr his reasons that Jiyu wanted sanata clause to get father & mother together but is Samarth the one who will be the dedicated ??

As society we have moved in various ways for woman in lookin for justice to such reasoning and makin our stand that injustice cannot be tolerated then Shobha should take that stand..

Now gaining so much strength does she see herself a fool to weaken again ??

I think its a combination of all 3

She appears to have had a sheltered life hence the naive nature
One would have to be stupid not to see take one look at Vikram and see his love
And of course, going back to her husband and kids is the easy way out...everyone is "happy"

I hope the CV use this as a chance to show the stark differences between Samarth and Vikram.

Where Shobha realizes Samarth does not show the same care and compassion for her and her kids
Where the kids realize what Vikram felt for them was fatherly love and despite Samarth being their dad, his love is lacking

I suppose, her naivety regarding relations is justifiable. She lived a fairytale life for whole nine years, and to break that habit of being a good wife with my-hubby-is-perfect kind of thoughts that used to fill her mind all the time, just can't be broken in nine months in which she has been living independently. And that is also partly because of her upbringing too. Her mother suggested to overlook Samarth's wrongdoings and forgive him.
