Nicole chooses Paris Hilton's jail
WE know the Hollywood party girls have shared dancefloors and rehab facilities — but now Nicole Richie is set to take their parallel lives a step further.
She has told authorities that she wants to serve her four-day sentence for Driving Under the Influence in the same prison as on-off pal Paris Hilton.
Paris spent her recent 23-day prison stretch at the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, California.

She has told authorities that she wants to serve her four-day sentence for Driving Under the Influence in the same prison as on-off pal Paris Hilton.

A spokesman for the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said, "Nicole's attorney contacted us and indicated she wants to do her time there."
However, which jail Nicole, who is four months pregnant with boyfriend Joel Madden's child, will actually go to is still undecided. The spokesman added, "That's all determined by our medical staff upon her arrival."
If she doesn't get medical facility placement, there's a good chance that Nicole will be housed in a segregated unit, much the same as friend Paris was.
