Beautifully written for Aakash and Anjali.. When it comes to Arjun, it won't take it as a coward.. Because he had undergone so much of bitter issues which makes him to do so.. Though I admired his unique and unpredictable sketch on Arjun, but for the first time I was disappointed when he felt happy after hearing Anjali not taking part in mission.. It's more of fear of losing still we can see Arjun's emotions hidden behind him.. He doesn't want to let his another side out.. I can say he was the one who find that there is something stays out special inside Anjali.. He knows very well a kind of capacity what Anjali can go far.. He always stays under darkness and loneliness within kills him day by day.. He was dared to do but his past filled with long struggling, no parental measures, bad experiences including betrayal of his own companion.. That's the reason he couldn't believe anyone and not letting anyone getting into it. He always referred Anjali as a competitor in his zone because he could read her ability.. Infact he knew that Anjali is well worth for rescue mission.. Hopefully this expedition makes him even more better person.. I just want to rid out from this fake personality and exploring his human side..!!

Arjun is a coward in some ways, hes actually insecure as he never had any family or security while growing up.

He conjured a fake family and fake past to overcome that insecurity and feeling of inferiority.

He suffers from inferiority complex thats why he covers it up with egotism and boasting.

He thinks Anjali comes from army background and hence shes led a pampered and entitled existence so he is jealous and insecure abt her.

He doesnt know her truth, so he judges her according to her confidence and capability and comfortable background.

But anyway, Arjun is selfish, egoistic and also a straightfaced liar who will lie thru his teeth to keep up the facade of the great invincible, brave Arjun Sabharwal.

His Everest will be to overcome his egotism slash inferiority and become a humble and honest person.

Anjali is a fighter, she is fighting against her father's prejudice, the prejudice of everyone around her who think shes weak because she is a girl.

Her Everest is to prove her strength and courage in the face of adversity and to climb to Everest summit inspite of all odds against her. Even if she has to go for it alone.

Akash is a loving soul, he loves Anjali, he loved his friend Gaurav and he loves Shikha Ma. Whatever he does, he does it for love! His goal wasnt Everest, he joined the expedition so he could pay for Shikha Maa's treatment.

His Everest is to absolve himself of a deep seated guilt at not being able to save Gaurav and to conquer his acrophobia.

Arjun I will take it not as a coward but a very insecure person. He doesn't trust himself in the first place and that is why all his show of. It is not to the world he is trying to prove. He is trying to prove to himself he is a great guy and he needs success for that. All his ego stems from that insecurity which to a great deal can be attributed to his background. He feels without wealth and success you are no one and the society will not accept you. I want to see how that mask of Arjun goes of and that Arjun which he has trapped deeply in his unconscious finally able to find liberation.

Anjali is a struggler and Aakash just like the name is a giver. If you see Aakash he doesn't expect anything from anyone. I would say he is the most duty bound. He cares and loves the people close to him without any partiality. Shika Maa like a son, Anjali like a friend. He doesn't impose on her his feelings but allow her to have the space in their relation. And he proved a good human again when he asked Naser to give Purva a second chance after Yeti issue. His character just like is name is calm, vast and holds all the brightness ( since we see, sun, moon and stars in the sky)

This guy Arjun is very insecure about himself and also of things around him. I don't think he is a coward. If he was he wouldn't have signed that contract Roongta presented him.

Due to his difficult past and horrendous experiences, he always feels vulnerable and probably fearful,hence his rude and egoistic behavior towards everyone and everything around him to mask his inner turmoil. A guy who has had no parental guidance, wrong company of friends, betrayed by the ones he trusted and experienced jail does leave a deep scar.

In anjali he sees himself - the burning passion, immense determination of achieving goals.

He didn't want Anjali to join the rescue mission. The reason he gave to Roogta might be just a lie. If he had said something on the lines of - She might die/ this is a suicide mission/ she should stay - It would have sounded way TOO diverted from his usual sarcastic/ egoistic talks.

I may be completely wrong here, but then that's what I think.😊

I agree that he's secure and thats cause of his past.

May be what you think is true, we cannot actually say what he had thought of there. 😆 His character's positive side is what I'm waiting to watch.
