Bismil (Haider) Your thoughts?

One of the few things that completely amazed me from 2014 was Bismil from Haider.

The way Sukhwinder Singh sang it and how it sounded haunting towards the last minute gave me goosebumps. The lyrics that Gulzar wrote were amazing and captured the whole scenario so well. The choreography was fantastic and Shahid danced to it so well whilst portraying his range of emotions from anger to sad to scary to intense. Even the little clips of seeing Tabu, Kay Kay, Shraddha, and others and their emotions in the song were portrayed so excellently.

It's sad to see that this song hasn't been nominated at all in any category at the award shows. It was far better than some of the nominations we keep on seeing 😒

I honestly though that this was one of the best songs composed and choreographed and captured in Bollywood. It really blew me away.

What are your thoughts?

Personally, I feel the movie needed a theatre viewing for just that song! The visuals, the music, the voice and the choreography! Fantastic!

Loved it! Ahh, now I'm gonna go back and, watch it. Screen nominated it for choreography and song I think. Thank god. Dunno about others.

I can't find it on Saavn. Come to think of I can't find any Haider songs on Saavn. Seems like conspiracy 😲😲😲
