Ok,

So I am thinking that being a doctor is an accomplished professionand the saas not accepting Ria to work is just backwards. Seriously this proves a point that women should not study according to Indian thoughts of joint traditional families. Also why would Ria's parents agree to not let her In laws know that she is a professional Doctor. Even they look scared of the Saas lol. How backwards. Its just hard for me to digest watching Ria scared of her saas but being a doctor. She does not fit the role at all.

Secondly, Ria and Abhi are such a mismatched couple with Abhi being the not supportive husband who is scared of his mommy dearest so he hides his wife's profession. Also Ria hides it. How shameful. She is a doctor and she should be proud not just trying to impress her Saas.

There is no chemistry between Abhi and Rhea so I hope the story goes another direction. Abhi does not deserve Ria because he is scared of mommy and tries to hide her profession and tell her not to go to clinic etc and Ria lets knot even go there. This girl cannot open her mouth just her eyes every time she gets scared of her saas. And she is a doctor??

I am sorry I am frustrated with the storyline. I hope it changes with this new character coming in and giving the saas a taste of her own medicine.😃 I also hope Ria finds someone who is compatible to her.

Thanks for this post.

Most of what you've said is so true but this is what this show was about how a saas like Rukmini does not want her bahu to work and Abhi fell in love with a doctor and they go around telling a series of lies for the sake of their relationship, THOUGH I do agree it isn't what most people would do.

Abhi being scared of his mother is something I also felt many times and still do...I can't believe that respect and/or love is equal to fear, if he did not want to hurt her feelings then by keeping the truth hidden he has exactly done that now.

At least yesterday he could have NOT accepted his mother's condition since the truth was out and Ria had saved a dear family member's life.

As far as Abhi and Ria relationship is concerned it is their choice so I can't say if it is a mismatched couple as long as they are happy with each other and continue to remain so.

One should feel proud of oneself, whether professional or not, and feel great in accepting the partner openly ---but then there would be nothing left for us to discuss about I guess.😛

This new entry is awaited by all of us...in fact I want the entry of Jatin too in future tracks.
