So if Ramayana was made into a movie in Bollywood, who would you guys choose to play the following characters?

I really dont wanna see Shurpanakha doing an item number to seduce Rama or Sumitra-Kaikayi having a Bhansali-esque dance face-off so I would rather it not be made

I don't find any actor from Bollywood's current generation to have Rama's character composure.Though Salman had those looks and acts in HAHK and HSSH.Maybe Sid can come close.
Varun or Ranveer can play Lakshman.
I would've said Deepu for Seeta but since her PR claims her to be Lakshmi's incarnation, she'll play Lakshmi.

I don't think bollywood would make a Ramayan movie, but they would do it in animation the way they did Mahabharat.

Imo , that will b less mocking relatively than seeing bimbos and studs depicting Sita - Ram etc..Though many will perfectly fit into the shoes of Ravana , Shupar , Kaikeyi etc imo..

Naw man, I think Historical Literature shouldn't be depicted like that, and if it is I am sure filmmakers would do it in the right mind, right heart, and right intention.

I don't think actors would even sign it otherwise. Nobody wants to play God's role that directly, unless its a hindi serial doing full justice.

Or its a modern script, like Akshay did in OMG. Loved that movie.
