But the direction is good. Dialogues are great. Locales are good. The narrative is fast. Bas Rudra bhaiyya ka character consistent honi chahiye and not OTT.

My dear Arshi,

For your peppy, funny and lucid take, 4.5/5. The missing half point will be added once you have read my take on your title, and agree with it!😉

Hi lovely post. I agreed with a few things completely, n didn't agree with some. 😳 But let's start with thanking you for opening this post thereby presenting us with the opportunity to discuss at some length.
I for once didn't find Rudra's reaction OTT or his rage out of place n I've my reason for thinking so.
As For Maya , I , again , found her beautiful n captivating n I found her interactions with GR not just ok, but HOT. So, that's another disagreement.
N let's say when at the end of the episode Rudra was sitting at the Ghat he wasn't fuming , with nostrils flared ,like a mad bull or any thing, was he ? No, just a normal guy, a bit sulky n brooding, other wise his turmoil was contained in his eyes only. So , we can safely see such hysteric fits of rage comes n goes in him n they come out only when he's too much afraid of losing some1 precious again n it brings back all those traumas in his childhood in a rush.
I immediately felt connection with Maya, she'll be the calm to Rudra's storm, his anchor, his light house in wavy stormy sea. She'll complete him.
Rudra is carrying lots of wounds inside, his trauma was not adequately counselled during childhood , it there fore renders him incapable of controlling his fury at times. In real life too I've seen lots of my patients who've been victim of deep childhood trauma n loss , or "battered child" , they do stuffs like that quite often. You'll be surprized how often. Many even become addicts. Here thank God becoz of Maimui's gentle guidance n loving tender care n calming soothing presence in his life Rudra has none of that at least.

All I know is, I love Rudra Bayya. The first time I saw Gautam standing on the bridge, I whistled! It was SO amazing to see him again! He is just SUPERB as almost Jahil type Rudra! So different from "Sanskari" Saras!

But the thing that has not changed is his love for his "Mai!". That is always the same!

So true, Gauti exudes raw energy as Rudra!

His and Mai's scenes are going to be excellent - two stupendous actors pitted against each other will be a delight to watch!

That's the main idea behind the daily posts- to create a space for people to agree/disagree, air their views, argue and debate, all views welcome!

Actually for me the disconnect happened because Rudra junior seemed to possess an inner calm and was always focused on preserving and protecting instead of attacking!

But yes your interpretation also seems logical. The discussion is still open because the real personality of Rudra will emerge over this week, as for Payal, let's agree to disagree for now!

Loved reading your post, do keep posting your ideas regularly!

No, no, Arshi, I was not fishing!😉

It is just that the whole first page plus of my post discusses exactly the same question you have asked in the title of this post, and attempts to explain it.
