The scene opens with Gopi and Paridi sat in the car. Paridi tells Gopi what Vivan is like.
In flashback mode we see Paridi walk up to Vivan in a restaurant and confront him about what he did to Sonia. He retorts that he did not do anything wrong and it was her fault for interfering. In fact he states that he should have done more so that she would not recognise her own face when he is done with her. Paridi is incensed. She tells him that he should not have done that and that she will break off all relations with him. Angry, he slaps her. The diners look on in shock. Paridi recovers and slaps him back. The diners get up and gather round. One of the men ask if things are ok. Paridi replies that this is her fianc and he has hit her. She taunts him to hit her and then tells him to not mistreat women and have respect. One of the women diners agree with her and Vivan tells her to mind her own business. The woman's partner is angry with Vivan and he and the other male diners beat Vivan. While Vivan is on the floor, bloodied, Paridi takes off her ring and throws it to him.
Back to present. Gopi asks Paridi why she did not disclose everything earlier and that if Kokila, Hetal and the family knew then they would have helped her. Paridi laments this and does not think that the family would still help her after everything that has happened. She explains how she had left Vivan and closed that chapter of her life and how her dad had sent her to Rajkot but still Vivan tracked her down and harassed her. Gopi says that she will take her home but Paridi declines and asks her to drop her off at the hotel as she is sure that the person following her is Vivan. Meanwhile Ahem is trying to contact Gopi but is not getting through. He has a mini hissy fit.
Modi family are gathered in the communal area. Ahem is still trying to contact Gopi. Jigar has taken Tolu, Molu and gone to sleep. The doorbell rings. Kokila opens it and I do see concern and relief on her face. Ahem angrily asks why she did not answer her phone. Gopi is asked where she was. Gopi looks to the side and Paridi walks into the shot.
Paridi stands next to Gopi. Kokila tells Gopi that she may enter but Paridi cannot. Gopi says that. Paridi told her all about Vivan. How he was abusive and beat women. Kokila looks shocked as does the family but recovers enough to tell Gopi that she has been taken in by Paridi and that she must choose. The family or Paridi. Paridi tearfully tells Gopi to go in. That she will manage. Gopi stands firm and says that she will go with Paridi. Cue shocked faces from Kokila and Hetal, baa shaking her head, no reaction from Parag and sourpuss Ahem scowling.
Heal moves forward and tells Gopi to stop this nonsense. Ahem cuts in too saying the she is willing to leave the family for this girl. Gopi says she cannot leave Paridi because for her, Paridi is a part of the family. She says that Paridi's life is in danger and being another woman she cannot leave Paridi on her own. She says that Kokila always taught her to side with the truth and is sure that if Kokila was in her shoes, she too would to the same. Shocked expressions. Paridi is not lying but she cannot convince the family of the truth. . Gopi also says that until Paridi's father comes for her Gopi will take the responsibility and that if anything bad happens to Paridi then she, Gopi will die because she failed. Cue more shocked expression for Gopi's stance than anything. Gopi asks for forgiveness then turns to Paridi and says lets go. Kokila is actually shocked. She is unsteady on her feet.
Outside MM Paridi asks Gopi what she has done? Where will they go? Gopi tells her to trust in God and everything will be alright. While Gopi is thinking, urmila is heard. She comes into shot and asks Paridi what new trick has done? Gopi stutters and says we. Urmila scowls and says you ... Will come home with me. She smiles. Dhawal comes there too and says that Hetal rang them up and told them what happened so they came. Paridi is puzzled she asks Urmila why? Urmila says that she thought that Paridi only loved Jigar but when she saw the way Paridi behaved on Christmas Day with Tolu Molu and the love she saw in her eyes for them she realised that she loved them too. They hug and got to Rashi Mansions.
At RM Gopi is sad that she has upset Kokila and is very much affected by this. At MM Kokila is upset that Gopi did not listen to her and has sided with Paridi. She tells Hetal that she wants her old Gopi back and falls to the floor crying. Hetal tries to console her. At RM Paridi is consoling a distraught Gopi. So we have distraught Gokila!
Pre cap. Paridi is in the rickshaw. Vivan is driving and Gopi is hanging onto the outside. He kicks Gopi, who loses her grip and falls to the road. Urmila and Paridi shout. Due to the speed that the rickshaw was travelling not only does Gopi fall but she practically rolls and appears to hit her head on the kerb.
