Will Varun, Sidharth or Arjun be nominated for Filmfare Best Actor?

2014 was a pretty bad year overall for male performances. The only two remarkable ones for me were Aamir in PK and Shahid in Haider. I even liked Ajay Devgan in Singham Returns. However every year Filmfare has to nominate about 5-6 actors for best actor so do you think that Varun, Sidharth or Arjun will be nominated this year? Especially since they delivered hit films this year.

Hmmm ... They might.

I think Shahid Kapoor, Aamir Khan and Randeep Hooda are sure bets. But Rajkumar Rao has been getting a lot of buzz lately so he might too. Personally I would love for Sidharth to be nominated. But I also know that he won't win and neither should he this year. The winner will either be Aamir or Shahid.

They r not THAT powerful right now to be nominated for okayisg performances.
but ff needs 5-6 names
To add to randeep, rajkummar n sasha, they need names so maybe arjun in 2 states n sallu in kick.
Shah cos it's a formality (lol)

Sidharth was cringe-worthy in EV. I was rooting for Ritesh's character the whole time. If only Ritesh had killed the "the villain" too when he was dealing with his damsel in distress. *Sigh*. Those two have got to the most annoying couple ever.

Arjun was nothing special in 2 states as well. He paled in front of everyone else he was on screen with, be it Alia, Ronit or Amrita.

Varun could be for HSKD though. He was quite good in that one.

Aww poor Sid 😔 Well, I respectfully disagree that he was cringeworthy. But I do agree that Ritesh was the best actor in that ensemble. I think for being 3 films old Sidharth did pretty well. Also his character in HTP was very different than Guru in Ek Villain. I think he has range.

Agree on Arjun Kapoor. 100%.

Varun should get a nomination for HSKD atleast. He was brilliant in the film. Best performance this year along with aamir, salman and shahid.

I don know why ppl didn find Arjun good in 2states i genuinely felt he was the perfect Krish..so he shud b nominated..Sidharth as well bcs i can unbiasedly say that he was bang on wid some scenes esp when he finds out Ayesha was preggy and he hits Ritesh..after 10 yrs atleast Ritesh got some recognition and he deserved it..Varun cud hv been good until climax scene where he killed the whole effect by crying..not bein funny he looked constipated or asif some1 bursted a pimple on his umhhh..😕

i guess no-one of 3 would be nominated,..😆

despite of th fact that i liked SM in EV i believe he could do much more,..
and HSKD was not Varun's movie i feel,.. despite of th fact that he was really cool in movie!
and arjun,.. again it was Alia who stole th show,..
