why ACP shot nakul??

i havent seen the begining episodes of CID as i was young at that time..but please tell me why ACP shot his son?? Was nakul always a criminal?? also did/does ACP have a wife??

I didn't see the episode either but by reading all the discussions I have concluded that nakul was a terrorist and shot down in an encounter.
No.ACP doesn't have a wife.
I am not sure if ACP was a single father or a widower because I never came across any episode where his wife is mentioned.

ACP's wife was shown when Nakul was a child. But after that ACP's wife was never shown.

When Nakul grew up, he became a terrorist. As Nakul was running away, ACP shot him.

ACPs wife was also mentioned in Wanted special episode. (Salman Khan Wanted) ACP said to Salman that Bhabhi ji is a big fan of yours

why should ACP call his wife bhabhiji?
He mentioned Freddy's wife.
