@BI - Two things will help unburden the invisible debts Manik carries on his soul. 1)- His love for Nandu , 2) The most important one- growth of fab5 as a group.
For the second point, I think cvs are trying to aim now. They had their first real confrontation, ideological difference and that will only grow. This will lead to them charing out their priorities as a group and as individuals and somehow they will convince and prove to Manik that though they live for his friendship but he cannot shortchange himself always. Dhruv will have his own talk too with him.
With Nandini's presence around him , he will find it easier to accept fab5's growth.
Though the real darkness is that parents' angle- that is when his every bond will be tested.
Second this and what Adhi said.
I love that there is an interplay of so many angles and the dynamics of all the relationships that bind this show together are coming to foreplay...
Manik knows Fab5 needs him, but he equally knows that he needs Nandani (I loved the little bits of what was exchanged today in words...especially from a guy like him). She shines for him, but he shines for the rest of Fab5, though this can at one point become very unhealthy in my poi. He will have to learn to step back and let the rest of Fab5 grow by themselves, face the hurdles and emerge stronger individually...How long can he truly shield them, even if that is what all he strives for...This is how growth now, letting go, stepping back, and letting Nandani take him away...Find his own happiness and love. I hope this plays out really well. As for the rest of Fab5, I think we are already getting a trigger there - their ideologies, so varied yet they have stuck by each other till now, and they will, but there needs to some sort of re-evaluation after deconstruction...they'll find themselves together again for sure though, this time with Nandani playing a huge role here...She is that anchor, that pillar for Manik, where he will derive energy from. His strength, not his weakness.
As for Nandu...What really hit me was when she said, "You never apologized for leaving me..." THAT did it for me. So so so poignant, and I almost had a lump in my throat - no lies. I love this girl. Bas. All her thoughts, though so tangled and messy right now, but there is a clarity that is always so beautifully portrayed with her character...almost embedded in her being.
My Firefly and My Star. You were both beautiful today! <3.
