His phone rang a smile crept on his face as he picked up the phone.

Zain-Don't worry I'll be back soon.

Saying so he ended the call and walked towards his car, as he entered into his car rain started pouring heavily the view was enigmatic. It took him to another rainy day three years back that had changed his current scenario.

He was wrecked from inside, he felt as if thousands of daggers thrust and twisted into his chest. He somehow gathered some courage and asked stammering.

Zain-Is she there. Is-Is she fine. (He was chocking, he was expecting something positive coming)

Caller-Mr. Abdullah we found your wife drowning so few people saved her and admitted her in a nearby hospital.

Zain was frozen, his knees felt weakened he dropped down covering his face with his hand.

Zain- Why you did this to me, I was at fault I know but why you punished me like this.

Zain reaches the hospital and asks the doctor about Aliya. The doctor replies him back by saying, "I'm sorry to say but due insufficient supply of oxygen into her brain, her brain has stopped working, in biological terms she is brain dead now", patting Zain's shoulder and leaving him distressed.

Abruptly his car comes to a halt and then all those painful flashbacks ends. Zain reaches Barkat villa his mom welcomes him

Suraiya-Zain I called you, you told you'll be backing soon.

Zain-Yup mom you told so sorry for being late, now need to go to Aliya must be waiting for me. She will be angry will talk to you later.

Suraiya-(In her thoughts) she won't come back.

Zain enter the room sees Aliya laying peacefully on the bed gripped in a deep slumber. He was holding a bunch of roses he placed them near the vase carefully.

Zain-MEZ you know what today I had the press conference of my first book everyone was there in the celebration except you but I know soon you'll stand by my side.

As he got up, placed a kiss on her forehead and caressed her soft hair tenderly by his hands.

Zain-As I was answering I was stuck at one place he asked me what is the ending and I told him I really don't know the answer.

A drop of tear rolled down his cheeks and fell on Aliya's face but she was still as if a lifeless statue Zain wiped them.

Zain-Since you are the answer of every question, you will complete our story. Wake up and complete your Zain. I'm incomplete without you.

Zain was still in a belief that one day Aliya would come running to him but scientifically this was next to impossible.

Zain-(holding her hand tightly) MEZ I believe in happy conclusions I know you will definitely give me one. You very well know I'm asking for this for the past three years.

Zain got up from the chair and went beside Aliya He intertwined his hand with her and took her into his protective embrace. Soon he dozed off to sleep.

Zain murmured in his sleep.

Zain-One day you'll definitely reply all my questions. Our ending will be like any other fairy-tale happily ever after.
