Wrote this now
We lived our lives, carefree
Everyday tasting a new Cadbury,
Ever living a new dream, each day
To become a perfect human someday
We lived our lives, enjoying
Unaware of the peril, impending
An hour later we were to chew an ice cream
But you came and shattered our dream.
We ne'er wronged, we ne'er ever did.
But there you were sucking the soul of each kid
One, two up to a hundred maybe the bullets tore,
Till not a sound was heard anymore.
Stationery, blood and what not lay
We could but stare in utter dismay,
Earlier someone teaching how to smile through trouble,
And now our dreams crashed and reduced to rubble.
Souls that dreamed for our future to be bright,
Every second, every minute, every day and night
Hearts that treasured up and weathered each storm
Now lie ripped apart, broken and torn.
Just a while back, a kiss flew and smile flashed
Waving us a hearty 'bye' as into the school we dashed,
Not knowing perhaps that would be their last one ever,
And that they would never see us forever!
God's intricate carving has lost its value,
Hatred taking it's form to establish his 'virtue'
Will the world be a safe place anymore to live,
Where man has forgotten how to forgive?!
If found necessary, it may be deleted.
