Are you proud of akshay for making Oh My God?

A masala actor like akshay supporting and financing a film like OMG and succeeding is a proud feeling. Something that is rare amongst commercial actor other than aamir who produced films like TZP, dhobi ghat, peepli live, I think akki has started to impress me a lot more lately than many star actors. I just hope he continues to come up with something as good as OMG and not do a sequel to OMG.

Yup good for him. But he does too much trash in between.
A sequel to OMG is a bad idea. It would be an over kill.

tbh you can say the same for every actors who do trash inbetween but I love his change by balancing. Whatever happened to his project with Deepa Mehta which he confirmed few years back that he was doing it. I hope he does that film, Mehta needs to hurry as akki saab is approaching 50.

I appreciate Akki for doing good movies in between. He tries balancing it out unlike the others. Unfortunately, he doesn't get as much credit for it. If he did fewer films, perhaps he would get more credit.

He was playing the title role though but yeh if we speak logically he was playing supporting role. Aamir also did the same with tare zameen par when he played second fiddle to a kid. but its he who produced and financed the movie and bought the rights.
