26th September
Kodaikanal cottage- Joe and sumathi is continuing their fight- abhi is calling there- sumathi manages to pick the phone- the receiver falls down and abhi can now hear their voices- Joe says that he will kill her. He should have done this long before. He goes in and sumathi then pick up the two briefcases with the money and jewellery and she comes out of the cottage. Joe is coming with a rope in his hand. He asks her to stops. But she manages to throw the boxes down the mountain. Joe is angry with her. He takes her inside and tries to kill her, he is slapping her.
Abhi and Jeni is quickly approaching the cottage- when they reach there they finds every door, every windows well closed- they can't get inside- they watch through the glass windows- they are screaming -leave sumathi- abhi manages to break a window accidentally- they then move towards the door-Abhi picks up a log and with that she breaks the glass and opens the door and jeni and abhi enters the house- she strikes Joe with the log, she strikes him very badly- sumathi shouts "Beat him akka, beat him"- she repeats- abhi continues when she hear sumathi's words- Meanwhile manu, santhi along with the police arrives and they take him to the station.

Abhi and others are happy to see sumathi back to normal state- sumathi says now she remembers everything. 😊

Rajesh's house- Every body is getting ready to go somewhere. They are going to their kuladeva temple. His father, mother and brother ask him to accompany. But rajesh refuses. His mom says that their kuladaiwam will make everything all right. In their house every function was done after the kuladaiwa pooja. Since rajesh married without that his marriage is in trouble. Rajesh opposes all these.

Meanwhile a phone comes, it is arathy- rajesh picks the phone, she says she will be back tomorrow morning, she also asks how is he. Rajesh is not so interested. Others ask who was in the phone. He says it is arathi.
Everybody says not to quarrel with her, they will come back and settle everything. His mother, father and brother ask him not to drink and quarrel with her. They say that arathi is a nice girl. Now his sister in law says that he is afraid of his wife and will quarrel with her only when he is drunk or else he is afraid of her. Her husband asks her to stop and everybody leaves. Rajesh is now alone there. 😭

Father's room- He is Ok now- Abhi and team is leaving kodaikanal. Jeni says that it was because of abhi she escaped from joe. She says thanks and says that whenever abhi again comes to kodaikanal she should stay with her. Father says that it was God who send abhi there and both sumathi and jeni escaped. Dr. Mahesh is also there. Abhi says it is not because of her- it is all because of God. Father says now suamthi is Ok, jeni escaped from joe's hand etc etc. Jeni is like his daughter and asks where is sumathi. Abhi says she is outside. Abhi says she is not so happy because joe managed to escape from the police. Father assures that he wont escape, he cannot escape from kodaikanal. He asks the cook to take all of them to the bus station. Dr. Mahesh says that he will do that. Abhi, shanthi and doctor leaves.
Sumathi is waiting outside- she is crying, she says that it is all because of abhi alone she is ok now. Her father troubled abhi so much. Yet she helped her. In the midst of her troubles she helped her to return to her normal state and cared so much. Abhi says she considers her as arathi and chitti loves her so much. Sumathi thanks her again, abhi says not to think about her past and just concentrate on her future. Manu arrives with a bouquet. Abhi asks sumathi to give that to the doctor. She gives it to Mahesh and says thanks to him also. He advises her to be happy, hear music and to think positively. All leaves.

Arathi again- she is coming in an auto- she gets down and buys a jasmine garland and puts it on her hair. She is smiling. She meets an old lady, their neighbour. Both of them talks happily, arathi enquires abt her daughter in law etc etc, the old lady wonders and says that before she never used to talk much, now she changed a lot. Arathi says that it is because she was busy with her studies, and now with all their blessings she will start her new life. The lady leaves.

Arathi reaches home- she opens the door and enters. She takes the gift for rajesh and walks towards their room- the room is closed. She waits for a minute, smiling. She slowly opens the door, she is shocked to see the scene.
Rajesh and a girl is sleeping in the bed, jasmine flowers are there on his body and also hers. Both of them are fast asleep.( I don't know who is the girl ,whether she is his sister in law's younger sister or not). Arathi is standing still, shocked .

Sept 27th update
😭 Arathy's house- Arathi again look into the room- shocked- stunned-then she walks away slowly as in a dream- wipes her tears- takes her bag- she walks out of the house-she leans on the outside wall-drops the bag-now flash backs- arathi and her friend in the shop buying gift for rajesh- her words abt rajesh- in between arathi's face filled with tears are also shown- she embraces the gift- cries-cries-not so loudly- stops crying-wipes tears-she picks her bag- turn slowly- walks into the house again-she is walking- now the girl(she is the sister of kala) is sitting there – she is also thinking-not well dressed –her hair, flowers etc tattered out- arathy is looking at her- she stands up quickly and asks when did arathy came- arathy replies just now she arrived- the girl says that nobody is there- all went to the temple- she leaves quickly- Now Rajesh is coming out of the room- he is putting the buttons of his shirt- he also see arathy- shocked a bit- goes towards her –says nothing and suddenly walks out of the house-Arathy is watching everything as if she is day dreaming- she leans to the pillar- she finally sits down- starts crying ….( the whole drama took abt 10 minutes with ample background music) 😭 😭 😭 ( Now I understood that people sleep with doors closed in such a way that anybody can open it and enter)

Kodaikanal- Bus –abhi, shanthi, manu, sumathy there. Mahesh buys something for them and says that it is kodaikanal special. Abhi smiles. She asks when will the bus leaves, Mahesh says there is still time. He says that he has to say something to her ,but alone. Both of them walks, they are walking by the side of the lake.

Dr- What is u r opinion abt me? Abhi- You are a good doctor 😊
Dr- Yes, I am a good psychiatrist.
Dr. – I want to say something. Abhi- Yes
Dr. – it is abt my suicide attempt drama. Abhi – It was very childish.
Dr- I just want to know u r reaction. Abhi- Why, why did u do that?
Dr. – I just want to impress you- Abhi wonders, Impress me, but why?
Dr- Do u remember abt the Bombay Mappilai which Iswar sir told. IT IS ME. 👏
Abhi- stunned for a while, what ,is it u? U should have told it before- why all this drama?
Dr-u know I am a doctor-I want to show that I am not so serious- a serious psychiatrist. That is why.
Dr- what is u r opinion? Abt marriage?
Abhi- I am already married Dr- But divorced, isn't ?
Abi- that is true, but now I am not ready for a marriage- it is not in my agenda- I have many things to do, much more important things, no time to think abt marriage.
Dr- I don't have papa, only mom, iswar sir is like my dad, when he told u , I was very much interested and I liked u very much.
Abhi- iswar sir did so, because he love me so much, that is all, I am not suitable for u, find another girl and marry her, don't waste time waiting for me.

Abhi walks away- Mahesh is looking- poor guy- he is heart broken- thinks- again looks-abhi is walking- he sighs and he also starts walking – 😭

Everybody is waiting near the bus- the bus is abt to leave- abhi and doctor approaches- jeni is there- all get inside- abhi says bye to jeni- bus leaves- she waves her hand towards Mahesh- bus leaves- Mahesh is walking after the bus- slowly runs after it as the speed increases- the bus leaves- Mahesh is looking at the bus- heart broken. 😃

Abhi's house- abhi,manu and sumathi arrives in an auto- sumathi says that let us behave as if I am not cured- abhi says no- chitti will be sad- but manu and sumathi insists- abhi agrees- chitti is cutting vegetables- sumathi starts her old walk- chitti cries and starts her blah blah- cursing her own fate- annadhi asks why she said abt some treatment, what happened- everybody worried- finally sumathi smiles and calls amma- All are now very happy- laughing- chitti says a big thanks to abhi- she don't know how to thank abhi –abhi says no need of a thanks- it is all because of god's grace- Then she explains the joe episode- everything in detail- ( abhi is updating the kodai episodes very well)in between everybody is saying Ooh,Aha, etc etc. Finally all are happy. Sumathi and chitti goes in and abhi asks anandhi to come with her, she wants to talk.

Abhi and anandhi walks out of the house. Abhi asks whether anandhi gave the present to usha and conveyed her best wishes. Anandhi nods her head. Abhi starts sobbing. She says that she never thought (even in her dreams) that she and usha will part. Usha was with them in all their happiness and sorrows. If there was a function at Abhi's house, usha will be involved in all that and will do everything. So abhi also thought that whenever usha's engagement comes, she would stand in front of all and do everything. And now just look at this. She didn't even attend the engagement. Abhi with tears. Anandhii is listening everything without a word. Now abhi says that she will go and call usha and convey her best wishes. Anandhi says stop Akka, abhi asks why- Anandhi says the engagement is broken. Abhi shocked…….. 😕

Sept 28th Update

Abhi and Anandhi- Anandhi says that the engagement "ninnupoyyi". Abhi is shocked and asks why, what happened. Anandhi says she heard that usha herself said that she is not ready for this marriage at the time of the engagement. Abhi asks what happened, anything wrong between adhi and usha, what happened, did anandhi saw her etc. Anandhi says that she also thought of going, but not, because while she went to give the gift she talked angrily to usha, at that time adhi was also there, that is why she was reluctant to go there. Meanwhile karpakam also comes there. Abhi is going to usha's house. Karpakagam says she too will come, the news of the broken engagement made her very sad, she wants to see usha. Abhi says No, she will go first, find out what happened and what is the present situation there and then they will all go together. Abhi leaves.

Arathi's house- she is still sitting there- sweating and crying- every body arrives. Kala starts her nonsense. Her father in law asks her to shut up and asks rajesh's big brother to give arthi the prasadam. Arathi is still sitting. Kala starts criticizing arathi, for not standing up while seeing the elders, now also to take prasad also she is not standing up.
(In between her blah blah, her husband and father in law is asking her constantly to keep quiet.) Arathi's hand shakes while receiving prasad- she is not taking it- kala asks why is she so afraid to take it. Her father in law says that she appears worried, some thing is troubling her, he asks how was the exam- arathi says she passed, her brother in law and father in law are happy. The mother in law is silent. kala says while taking money she said a big thanks, now when everything is over , she is again back to the old state.

In between all these rajesh also arrives and angrily asks what is the reason for not standing up- she thinks that she is highly educated and so she can behave as she likes. It was because he is a very good man, she is still in that house or else she would be out for her behaviour. Kala is very happy. Others ask him to keep quiet. Rajesh is fuming- arathi is looking at him and kala without any words. Kala's husband asks her to keep quiet, she tells yes she will do so, because her parents taught her to obey her husband, not like his younger brother's wife. Kala says it is the first time her child says something against arathi- now everybody is asking him to keep quiet, this is not fair. She says that arathi is not even answering, that shows disrespect towards the elders and now look she is not even answering her husband also- she says to rajesh that she have no respect for u. (In between the other girl is also shown.)

🤢 (Lot of blah blah were there- from kala and rajesh towards arathi) .Finally arathi gets up and go to their room and closes the door- the flowers are still there in the bed- she remember the scene- she threw away the sheet and the pillows, his shirt etc etc – finally cries.

Usha's house- Abhi reaches there, go upstairs- usha's dad is there- she asks abt usha- no response- asks abt mom- he points to the other room. Abhi is going there. Usha's mother is angry. Abhi asks what happened, where is usha? She says after planning everything now why is she here, abhi asks what are u saying? what did I do? She says isn't it was u r plan to say No during engagement. Abhi says no- I don't know anything. Usha's mother repeats that the cause for all these is abhi. Abhi says don't say anything without knowing the fact- I am not- Usha's mother says since abhi's married life is a failure ,she don't like other ladies leading a pleasant and happy married life. She used usha to take revenge upon adhi- Abhi says no- no- I am innocent. Abhi asks where is usha- her mother asks why is she asking abt usha, she herself asked usha to leave home and now she is enquiring abt her.
Abhi turns towards usha's father- he starts- he says that he considered abhi as his own daughter- helped her- that was his fault- now look- they came there for usha's marriage- it is broken- so now there are going back to bangalore- there is no need to stay there again.
Abhi says don't go, wait, she will do something- usha's mother asks what can she do- she says she will talk to usha, she will talk to adhi, will beg to him, will do anything he demands, she is ready to give up anything if she is the reason for the broken engagement. She is even ready to sacrifice her life for usha's marriage. 🤢 Usha's mother says tht adhi and abhi are in two extremes- he considers her as his biggest enemy , he will never listen to her. Abhi pleads to give her some time, don't go- she will try her level best to bring them together. ( she is sobbing in between).she will also find out usha. Abhi leaves. 😭

Thulsi, shanthi, abhi- Thulsi asks what is disturbing her, abhi says usha's engagement is broken, and her parents considers abhi as the reason for it- thulsi says that don't worry –her conscience knows what is true- don't take it seriously- Usha is coming- she hears everything- usha says hello to all- everybody look at her- abhi is looking her with slight anger in her eyes- usha is looking at her.

Thursday Sept 29th-
Usha arrives-
😊 Usha- Hello,(enters the house. Everyone serious.)
U- hai thuls, I behaved very rudely when u called me. Plz don't keep that it in mind.
Thul- it is ok. Abhi stands up and move away.
Us- why abhi, won't u talk?
Abi turns- Usha, what is all these usha, why did u say so? Why are u staying out? What is all these? Everyone blames me for all these.
U- not because of u abhi, it was my own decision.
Ab-why did u say so? U loved adhi, isn't it? Is this u r love? Is this kathal means? U loved him – u knew very well that myself and adhi are not in good terms- even then u loved him- then what happened now?
U- I loved him then, now not.
Abhi- what is the difference now.
Usha- u know it, u know the reason. he tortured u so much, I was not aware of his real nature then, but now I know.
Abhi- our difference is abt our work, this is u r personal life.
Usha- he was just my lover, nothing more than that, but bhaskar was u r husband, u removed him from u r life, isn't it, u did that, isn't it?
Abhi- u know very well the circumstances which made me do so, he tortured me so much, that is the reason. But adhi- he loved u so much, he was ready to do everything for u. he is not like bhaskar.
Usha-he tortured u isn't , after all thos ehe doen to u, should I marry him?
Abhi- Ohh then it is true, u said so because of me, isn't it.
Usha- I don't like him abhi. It is not necessary that we should marry the one whom we love. How many are doing so?
Abhi- Ok, Ok, Now usha let me ask, Hve u got any peace of mind, answer correctly, ask u r conscience and then reply.
Usa- I am happy.( Appears not) 😭
Abi- No. No- U are punishing u r self- because of u – u r parents, u yourself,u r friends nobody have any Nimmathi. Now tell me what is ur decision?
Usha- I want to be u r old friend, want to work with u in this office- I want to be the same old Usha.
Abhi is silent. Usha- why are u thinking?
Abhi- I am sorry to say, u are not my friend, If you are, u will never break u r marriage. 🤢

Abhi leaves. Usha looks at thulsi- he too leaves- now shanthi- she too leaves.

That local goonda's house, who tried to kill thulsi while he was in jail( what is his name-sivadas)
He is playing cards alone- his assistant arrives and says that abhii is back- sivadas asks what did u say? He called abhi by her name- call her madam- or else he will be finished-show respect toward her– the assistant says why are u wasting the time while it is the time for action. Sivadas says yes, and he will do something to make abhi come to him for help again. He calls his cook and ask him to go and meet abhi in the disguise of the financier( he has done this before also and gave her money- 10 lakhs).
His wife is listening all these- but sivadas finds out that she heard all the discussions- he asks her to keep her mouth shut. He says he himself is not sure what will be her fate if she opens her mouth and inform abhi abt anything.

Abhi's house-
Abhi is checking a diary or so- Rajendran, Anandhi, Manu also there- Karpakagam arrives with tea (or coffee). She says neither arathi came to meet them nor called them, after she is back home. Rajendran says yes that is true, she won't sit peacefully until she comes and meet them, anandhi too agrees with it. Karpakagam is worried. She enquires whether arathi telephoned abhi or not. Abhi says yes, she telephoned kodaikanal and said that she passed her exam and now her future studies is secure. Karpakagam asks abhi to call her. Abhi says she will go and enquire abt arathi. 😊

Now the cook in disguise(as the financier) and two other people arrives . He shouts, anybody there. Abhi and family is coming out- Abhi recognize him.

The cook demands his money back. Abhi says there is no money with her now. But he is not yielding. He asks when will she pay back? She says she will do it as soon as possible; but she is unable to tell a date.
He is not at all agreeing. He says she went to kodaikanal and enjoyed there, for that she has money. Now why did they change their old house- to cheat him, isn't it? – abhi says it is not so- the owner asked to vacate that is why they shifted to this hosue. he again says Give my money back. Don't u remember the time when adhi purchased u r plot, and he helped her at that time. His friend sivadas asked him to do so, it was for sivadas he gave her the money. he gave his building for her company-If she is not ready to pay the money, he will go and ask sivadas, abhi says No, don't do so- sivadas helped her while she was in problem, don't go and disturb him. She says she will pay back soon.
The cook wants to know the exact time. She says she will pay within a month, he is not agreeing. She says she will pay within a week, he is not yielding. He asks her to pay now itself- he want back the whole money (ten lakhs) today itself. anandhi and manu interferes, but he asks them to go out and do some theft, he wants his money- he speaks and behaves very rude….. He leaves saying that he has with him a blank paper signed by abhi, he can write anything in it, just remember that. Abhi is worried(of course all others) . she leans on her mother- she pacify abhi. 😭 😭 😭

30th Sept Update

Bhaskars house, Nalini is sitting with the Josiakaran, her husband is sitting behind and reading the newspaper, Bhaskar is coming down the stairs and halts in the stairs listening to the conversation between his mom & josiakaran. Josiakaran hands over nalini her daughters hororscope and says that hes has analysed and told her everything. Then nalini gives him another jathakam and says this is my sons jathakam please check this also. The josia karan looks at Bhaskar's jatakam & says that the your son does not have a steady mind, sanjala budhi, always thinking ITHUVA , ADHUVA enrum UUsaladum manasu. He says his life will also be like that. Nalini says why are you saying that. Josiar says that your son will always be wanting money, wanting luxury, he will leave what he has but will want whatever he does not have. He should have already got married to a Mahalaxmi mathiri ponnu, but he would not have realized the ARUMAI , perumai of his wife, and now he would remain single. Josiar says, so have I said things correctly so far. Nalinis husband is all happy, Bhaskars mom says everything is correct , but for the talk about mahalaxmi mathir ponnu, that part is wrong. She says veettuku vandhu vahchadhu, moodevei, tharithiram. After she came we had to struggle for even food. Josiar says dont say that about that mahalaxmi, he continues to say that this girl will come back to this house. The planets say this.

Bhaskar is angry and says What you come to our house and keep talking good things about my exwife, u first leave this house. Josiakaran says that this is your problem thambi, u don't have the maturity to understand or accept good things, this is your problem, you are a ARAIKURAI. Bhaskar screams at him.Nalini is shocked. Josiakar says that veetuku vandha marumagal, guest, & people like me should be respected. Only then you will urupattufy. Bhaskar says give him money and send him away. Josiakarar says that Im not doing this for money. For me work is worship. I don't want to say things just to please people or you. One day your wife will come back to this house, and you will remember me at that time. Naan varrenga saying this he leaves. Nalini says why is he saying this. Bhaskar is thinking

Anandhi is traveling in the bus and suddenly one old gentleman says that his money is missing, so he asks the driver to stop the bus. Conductor says what, the person says that he had 10000 rupees for his daughters marriage and that is gone, I just checked a few mins ago. The person standing next to him says \are you crazy to carry this much cash and come, and insults the old man . Anandhi says why are you guys talking like this as he is already stressed. The person says if you have the money then you pay him. The oldman asks the conductor that it should be with one of us here, so please kindly check, for which some of them protest saying that it is already getting late for work. Anandhi protests and says that you guys should be helping him, she says conductor first go to the police station. Conductor refuses, but then there is a person who is watching Anandhi all the time, and supports her and says that what anandi is saying is nyayam, so please go to the police station, others in the bus support this. AT the police station, Anandhi explains what happened to the inspector. The inspector is so \stupid and is aluthufying. Anandhi questions his bad attitude. Anandhi is arguing with the inspector and insists that he should be the one to find who robbed the money. The inspector is such a waste. Anandhi says if you don't check all these people we will protest. At this point the person who was watching anandhi, he comes forward and says that you have to check all of us. The inspector recognizes him as parashakthi magazine editor and then the entire scene change and the inspector obeys and checks everyone. The person who was insulting the old man does not let anyone to check his bag. They forcefully check it and find the money. The old man is waiting anxiously and filled with joy when he finds the money in that persons tiffin box.. The inspector files a case, the oldman leaves thanking Anandhi. The Editor asks anandhi's name and he thanks her for being so social and such a good fighter. He offers her a job in the Editorial magazines office. Anandhi is thrilled, but she says she will think and let him know. The editor leaves after giving his card and says that she will make a good reporter.

Abhi is talking to Tholkapian, and saying, that the Kadankaran wants the money today & I don't know what to do, he came and said so many dirty things and is not listening to reason. Thols says Naan Appave sonnen, but u never listened. AT this point, the Kadan karan enters with the police, & points at Abhi to the inspector and says that this is the lady who took the money and is not returning it. He also is very abusive and says that since you are a pombalai I cannot do much otherwise I would have got my money back by beating you. Thols asks him to talk with respect. The inspector asks who Thols is , for which Thols says that he is a partner. The inspector says that then instead of talking, you find a way to repay the money. The Kadankaran is on a verbal abuse rampage, he wants her to pay the money at any cost, ETHAIYAVATHU, he repeats EHAIYAVATHU panni , return my money. Abhi is in total shock so are the others. This angers THOLS a lot and he goes and catches the kadankaran jibba and beats him up, abhi and others try to stop thols, at this very moment

Sivadas makes a grand entry with his men
Sivadas: Yarya Avanga, Evallavu peria allu avanga, Kevalam oru 10 lakhs rupees kaga avangala asingapaduthariya (who is she , she is such a great person, and jsut for a mere 10,000 rupees you are insulting her)

Kadankaran: Ungalukku venna Avanga periaalla irrukalam, ennai porutha varai avanga kadankari (calls abhi kankari)

Sivadas: EEYE if you say Kadankari , Gidankair, I will knock all your teeth down
Kadankaran: Intha Pochandi Ellam Inga vendam, Ozhungu, Mariyadhaya Panathai, Vangikodul
Sivadas: Rascal , unnai mathiri porampokuu kitte irundhu avangaluku pannam vangikoduthahu enn thaputhanya,
Kadankaran: Avalu roshama irunda then u pay the money

Sivadas:
Avalavu dhana, pichakasuya 10 lakhs rupees. , enga madathuku 10 crorer kuda kodukalam, indha pidi,
Then then says, ok, now that you got the money give us back the Patharam. (10 lakh rupes is peanuts for my madam, we should be able to give her in crores, saying this he gives the 10 lakhs to the kadan karan)

Vadikaran hands over the Patharam, to sivadas who shows it to the Inspector & says that this is the pathram, and rips it out. In front of everyone. Thens says OKVA madam. Santhosham thana, Abhi has a lot of Anandha Kaneer flowing from her eyes. Kadankaran leaves.

Everyone is in total shock. Abhi thanks him by putting a nice kumbudu to him. Sivadas says that from now on he will not bother you. Abhi says I will never forget your help sir, Sivadas leaves with his men. Abhi and others go inside. Thols is looking with suspicion, and the frame freezes on him

Sivadas acting was so cute & abhis expressions as always is super.
