Maan pleads to dadi to forgive him...
He knows that Dadi loves him so much that she can never hurt him though he might have hurt her...
Maan: dadi, what's this? Stop pretending, I know that you are a pretty bad actor
Dadi still maintains her act...but she couldn't control her smile looking at the MSK pleading like he used to plead dadaji when he was a kid...
Maan: mujhe patha hai ki aap aaise kyun behave karthe ho?
Dadi: hum aapse baat nahi karba chahathe hai
Maan: mujhe sab patha hai Dadi, ye toh zaroor uss Geet ka hi kaam ho saktha, uss ne hi aapko mujhse baat karbe se rokha hoga
Maan pretends to be angry with Geet...
Maan: usski itni himmat, mein abhi usse ghar se nikhaaltha hoon
Dadi is scared now, she can't let Geet go...
Dadi: Maan bete, ye kya hai? iss mein Geet ki kya gakthi hai? Geet ne kuch nahi kiya hai, unko chod dijiye, hum toh ye sab pani hi marzi se karthe hai
Maan wonders...wow...kya jodi hai? donno ek dusre ko bachane ke liye kya kya nahi karthe?
Maan: ye hui na baat, ab toh aapko manane ke liye bhi uss Geet ki zaroorat padthi hai, aaj kal mere hi gahr mein kera koi parva nahi hai, Geet ne aakhir aaisa kya kardhi?
Dadi: aap nahi jaanthe, Geet ab hummari pothi bangayi hai, hum unko kahin jaane nahi denge, samjhe aap?
Maan: Dadi, I'm really sorry, I promise you, It won't happen again, mejhe maaf kijiye, mujhe aaisa nahi karna chahiye tha, mein ne aapko bahut takleef dedhiya hai, lekhin dadi, aap ko uss pagal ladhki ki baat ko nahi manna tha, woh toh humVicky bhai ke barein mein kuch nahi jaanthi, par aap toh Bro ko jaanthe haina? Aur aap ko patha haina ki mein Bro ko kitna miss kartha hoo?
Maan phir se dukhi hojaatha...babaji ye Maan ko aap itne takleef kyu dethe ho?
Dadi looks at him and doesn't want him to keep brooding like this forever...jo ho gaya so ho gaya, hum ussi ko lekhe aaise zindagi bar dukhi hothe hai kya?
Dadi: Maan bete, aakhir kab tak aaisa chalega? Aap ko bhi ab apne zindagi ke barein mein sochna chahiye, ja kuch bhi hua ussko bhool jayiye
Maan: kaise bhool saktha hoon dadi?
Dadi: aaise nahi kehthe bete, ab aap aage sochiye, apne kushiyon ke barein mein sochiye
Maan: lekhin dadi meri taqdeer hi aaisa hai toh mein kya kar saktha?
Maan bahut udaas hai...
Dadi: taqdeer apne hi haath mein hotha hai bete, aap chahe toh apni taqdeer ko badal sakthe
Maan: ab toh mujhe apni zindagi se koi umeed nahi hai, meinne pehle hi itna kuch kho diya, ab aur nahi, ab mere paas khone ke liye kuch bhi bacha nahi hai
Dadi: aapka aaise rehne se Vicky kabhi wapas nahiaayenge aur na hi aapko aaise dekh ke Vicky kush honge, hum toh bas aapko kush dekhna chahathe hai, hum aapki hassi ko bhool hi gaye
Maan smiles...
Dadi is happy: abhi toh aapki zindagi mein khushiyan lautke aagaye hai bete, aap ko bas uss kushiyon ko apnana hai bete
Dadi refers to Geet...
But Maan thinks otherwise...he only knows his fears...he is scared of being happy...he is afraid that his happiness is always shortlived ...he is happy with the way he is now...he is just happy with his fond memories of his Bro...and his Bro's business...no more expectations and so no hard feelings...life just moves on without either the joys or the worries of remaining happy...
Maan is still hopeless and he moves to his news hour...he looks for his news paper...
And dadi is wondering why Geet has not yet come...
Dadi goes in search of Geet...
Dadi ko kaise patha ki Geet Maan ke kamre mein hai...
Dadi: lekhin ye Geet kahan hai?
Dadi calls Nakul...:Nakulll
Nakul comes: ji dadima
Dadi: ye Geet m'am abhi tak nahi aayi?
Nakul: nahi Dadi, mein coffee lekhe gaya lekhin Geet m'am unke kamre men nahi hai'
Dadis is shocked...: kya? tumne teek se dekha? Geet naha rahi hogi
Nakul: nahi dadima, Geet m'am wahan nahi hai
Dadi: ye ladhki itne subhe subhe kahan chali gayi? Babaji, ye kya ho raha hai?
Maan just over hears their conversation and finds Dadi tensed...
Kahin uss stupid ladhki ki wajhe se dadi ko kuch ho na jaye...
Maan comes and takes dadi to the couch...
Maan: dadi, pareshaan hone ki koi baat nahi, aayiye aap beit jayiye, mujhe aapse kuch baat karni hai
Dadi: aap ne Geet ko kuch kaha? Ye kya hai bete? Ab hum Geet ko kahan doondhenge?
Maan: dadi, Geet yahi hai, woh so rahi hai
Dadi: Geet, abhi tak so rahi hai? hum unko jagathe hai
Maan: sone dijiye ussko, aaj Sunday hi hai
Dadi: aap ko kaise patha Geet abhi tak so rahi hai?
Maan: mein abhi abhi dekhke aaya hoon
Dadi: par kahan?
Maan: woh mere room mein so rahi hai
Dadi is surprised...toh issiliye Geet abhi tak nahi aayi aur ye janaab yahan itne subhe subhe aagaye hai...ye bhi Geet ka naya plan hoga?
Dadi hides her anxiety...but she knows that Maan's changes are due to Geet only...
Dadi: humme toh Geet ki itni aadat ho gayi hai ki unke bina kuch bhi karne ki mann nahi kartha, subha ka pooja mein bhi mann nahi lagi, ab patha nahi Geet ke bina hum kaise rehenge?
Dadi looks at Maan for his reactions, it's not only dadi but even Maan can't imagine a life without Geet...she may not have become his wife officially but she has made her place in this house, in Dadi's heart and also in MSK's tiny heart...where there is no vacancy, Geet is slowly taking the place of Vicky in Maan's life...she is only wishing for Maan to forget the past, forget his Bro and move on, even she doesn't know that she is replacing Vicky in Maan's life...
Only Dadi knows that Geet is the person who could replace Vicky...she is praying for that only...her prayers are being answered...she is happy that Maan is slowly and steadily falling in love again...this time it's a lifetime commitment and dadi just prays that Geet stays with Maan forever...
Maan wants to change the topic...pehle hi Maan ko Geet ne bahut pareshaan karke rakha hai, ab Dadi bhi Geet ke barein mein hi baat karthe toh Maan pagal ho jayega...
Maan: Dadi, aapne khana khaya hai ya nahi?
Dadi: humme bhook nahi hai bete
Maan: par mujhe bhook lagthi hai, chaliye hum donno saath bhi khathe hai
Dadi: par hum badh mein khathe haina? Aap beitiye, hum aapko parosenge
Maan: kyun Dadi? Aap sirf uss Geet ke saath kahthe ho? mere saath nahi?
Dadi: aaisa kuch nahi hai bete
Maan: toh aap bhi beit jayiye, nakulll...
Nakul serves and Dadi and Maan have their breakfast together, the food tastes really good after a long time for both of them for they are very happy today...
Geet just comes and she is happy to see them together, she wants to go to the OH without being noticed...she wants them to enjoy...it's been a long time since they had been together happy like this...
But Dadi has seen her creeping towards OH...
Dadi: hare Geet bete, aap kahan jaa rahe hai? aayiye, aap bhi khana khayiye hummare saath, aaj toh Nakul ne bahut swadisht aloo ke parathe banaya hai, Maan ne toh pura 5 parathe kali kardhi
Maan looks at his plate and is surprised that he is feasting like this after a long time...
Geet: nahi Dadi, mein badh mein khaloongi
Dadi: aap pehle aayiye bete
Geet goes and joins them...she avoids looking at Maan...she has promised not to interfere in his matters...haina?
Dadi: kya hua bete? Aap itne khamosh kyun ho?'
Geet: kuch nahi dadi, mein teek hoon
But dadi finds something wrong...
Dadi: Nakul, kheer lekhe aayiye, Maan bete aap bhi lijiye
Both of them try to reach the bowl at the same time...
Maan pulls harder thinking that Geet would not leave it else...but Geet has promised na? she lets off the bowl and the kheer spills over Maan as he had pulled so hard...
Maan stares Geet and poor Geet stands on her feet immediately and is scared...
Geet: woh dadi, mujhe maaf kijiye
Dadi: koi baat nahi bete, Maan toh aaj bina nahathe hi khane beit gaye haina, ab toh unko nahana hi padega
Dadi winks...Maan never eats without bathing...everything has changed...
Maan remembers it and leaves immediately...
Dadi laughs and Geet joins her...
Dadi: aaj toh hum bahut kush hai bete, Nakul kuch meetha lekhe aana
Geet: par dadima, aapko meetha khana mana haina?
Dadi: aaj toh humme mat rokhiye, aaj hummara Maan humme wapas milgaya, humme celebrate karna hai
Geet serves kheer to dadi...Dadi is delighted like a child...
