From the next day the cold war begins...
Maan is back to his normal life...
He is very relieved , he can now be himself...all alone, no one to disturb,no more trouble...no more Geet Handa...
After many days KM is noise free, back to its silent mode...
It looks like a dessreted war field hwere Geet & Maan are enemy commanders fuming inside but keeping silent b'coz of the cease fire...
Maan may think that it is his victory but he too will soon realize that KM and his life become dull and boring without Geet, the jaan of KM...
Dadi doesn't like this at all...she is scared of the gloomy past and don't want a it to return...
Even Nakul and his company start missing Geet's fun and her ever so funny encounters with Maan...
And as Maan's attention was focused on Geet the servants little mistakes were ignored by him...
Now that Geet is out of his sight, Maan is missing the entertainment and so he is always in a bad mood and keeps finding fault with everyone ...
May be he is also missing Geet and her antics...that's why he is frustrated...
But he pretends to be happy and trouble-free...
Dadi had noticed the difference as it is evident that Geet has gone into her shell just like Maan which is very unusual for her ...
Mornngs were filled with Geet's non-stop chirping like the early morning birds...but now she has stopped her chit-chats...
She remains silent thru out the pooja without her normal questionare about the past...
Dadi used to tell her about Maan's childhood and also about her mother ranno...
But Geet only talks when it is necessary that too in a very low voice only with Dadi so that Maan won't hear her...
Dadi is worried, it's Maan's characteristic to go into silence often, but not Geet's...
Geet vents her feelings then and there and forgets them immediately...
She is not used to these prolonged darna or what...it's all b'coz of Maan's inflenuces...
Dadi wanted Maan to change but he has changed Geet? this is not for the good...
Dadi has to do something...or Geet would become a MSK junior...
What happened to Geet? something is stopping her from being herself...she is bound by some pressure, Dadi has to find out whst's bothering her...
Geet keeps messing up with things and gets Maan's scoldings everyday...
But now she doesn't even go near him, or come in front of him...
She remains invisible to him, hiding when he is around...
Maan's presence always make her nervous and she keeps stumbling and Maan had to come to her rescue...now she deliberately avoids him...
Geet's strange behavior worries Dadi...
One night Maan had gone out for dinner with some client and it's only Geet and dadi for dinner...
Geet is happy that Maan is not here...
She can brathe free and doesn't need to control herself now...
She is talking and laughing aloud cracking jokes with dadi...
She also imitates Maan which is dadi's favourite...
"Nakulll,where's my coffee?"
Maan had already had his coffee but forgotten it in his work...
Poor Nakul will blink...
"kya dekhthe ho? mein aakke coffee banaoon?"
Nakul..."aap ?"
"haan, Maan Singh Khurana ko koi aur kaam nahi haina?"
Nakul will stand there not knowing how to react...
Maan will immediately get up and rush to the kitchen...
Nakul will keep following him...
Maan will take the coffee maker and make coffee himself...
Nakul will watch him shivering...he will stnd there helplessly...
And he will then stare Nakul, poor Nakul, he can't tell Maan that it's his third coffee...
Dadi will intervene and save Nakul...
Then his famous dialogues...
Geet comtinues..." ye Maan Singh Khaurana ka ghar hai, samjhe tum"
"Maan Singh khurana ko ye pasamd nahi"
"Maan Singh Khurana kabhi ye nahi kartha"
"Maan Singh Khurana kabhi joot nahi boltha"
Always talking in the first person..."I, Me and Mein"
Dadi is also in masti
Mood...she encourages Geet to keep going...
Geet toh MSK hi ban chuki hai...she has keenly observes him and knows him very well now...
It's aways been one way, Maan keeps talkiing about himself and Geet listens...
He had never shown interest in knowing Geet...
It's always about him and his worries, and his past, his Big Bro...
As Geet is mimicking Maan, Maan comes back after a bad day at KC...
He had a tough time with his client and he had cancelled everything...
He is back early and is in a very bad mood...
To add to his misery Geet is making fun of him and her voice could be heard even outside KM...
She must have been born with a speaker in her throat...
He goes staright to the dinning hall ...
Maan: ye kya ho raha hai?
Geet stops immediately...
Maan: ye Maan Singh Khurana ka ghar hai, koi theatre nahi
Dadi couldn't control her laugh, Geet had just recited this dialogue...
Dadi compares them and they are perfect...juat as Maan says..."MSK"
Maan keeps staring Geet and Geet silently leaves without even finishing her dinner...d
Dadi: geet, Geet bete
Geet just leaves...Maan still keeps staring the vacant chair where she was sitting...
Dadi gets angry with Maan...
So it's all b'coz of him that poor Geet couldn't even have her dinner...
Dadi has to stop Maan else these too will drift apart leving no room for a patch up...
Dadi: Maan bete, aap itne jaldhi kaise aagaye
Maan thinks that dadi wanted to ask "Maan bete, aap ghar kyun aagaye? "
Maan: meeting cancel ho gayi
Dadi has seen this happen a few times, most of the clients end their ties with KC after their bitter ecperiences with Maan's rugh and tought attitude and rudeness...
Dadi doesn't want to make him angrier...
He is hungry and also upset...
Dadi: it's OK bete, kabhi kabhi aaisa ho jaatha hai, pehle aap beitjao, aaj hum saath mein dinner karthe hai
Maan: nahi dadi, mujhe bhook nahi hai
Dadi: aap kuch khaoge nahi toh kaise neendh aayega? Aayiye, kuch toh kahyiye
Maan haves his dinner and leaves...
Maan returns to his room still thinking about what happenend...
How he shouted at Geet and hiw much she was hurt by that...
Maan knows that it's not Geet's fault, she was actually helping Dadi get out of her depressions, for which he is responsible, and he could see Dadi more happy with Geet, Dadi was enjoying it a lot, and even Maan loved her cute expressions, but that made him weak, that made him greedy, wanting more and more of that happiness, wishing beyond his limits, which according to him will not only hurt him in the long run but it will also affect Geet, which he didn't like...
He is more concerned about Geet now, he doesn't want her to be hurt b'coz of him...
He had already realized that he has softened and become weak, after he met Geet...
He is afraid that he would get addicted to emotions again and he will start expecting too much from life which he is not going to get eventually and he will have to suffer again...
He knows he can never be happy and wishing for something impossible is foolish...he has this wrong notion that he doesn't have the fortunes to be happy...it is something that he can't afford...it's beyond his reach...
And happiness is always shortlived and it's fake...it's just an emotional trap and a ticket to the upcoming sorrows behind it...
When you get overwhelmed with the joy and happiness that are momentary you immediately becpme addicted and obsessed with them and you start craving for more and more of it...
This is impossible for life is not filled with only roses but also thorns that hurt you more...
After all the bitter experiences Maan has succeeded in following his own path, with neither the roses nor the thorns...he is not ready to get out of his safe heaven...where he is contented with his Bro's memories and Bro's dreams...and there is no room for his own wishes...he doesn't want a life of his own, he can't imagine a happy life without his beloved Bro...that's impossible...no Bro, no life, no happiness, no grief...nothing...everything ends with his Bro itself...
He is now scared that this Geet is deviating him from his world, pulling him into the fake world which he is scared of, the one filled with emotional bondings and material attachments...
He has to put an end to this confusions...he is clear that he is right...and he won't change for any one...specially Geet...
It's becoming tough to handle her...he is getting carried away by her innocence and this is not good...
He has to keep his emotions under check...he has to ignore her...
Maan then stops interactions with Geet and avoids her completely...
Kuch din aaise hi chaltha...
MSK phir se DD bangaya...he gets back into his shell...
