'Sanyukta' is most fascinating character whereas 'Veera' is more popul

Just Showbiz got Yash on board in the exclusive chat about his stints into today's television. Veera has completed full 2 years.How was the experience and what do you feel about its success - "It is satisfying.In fact,when we started off,we were aware that we are taking huge risk.It was gamble to do show based on brother and sister sibling relation.The shows on sibling relationship hadn't tried since very long time.We were convinced about story.It is great story with great characters.We had great writing team lead by Mamta but we were really not sure how audience will respond to it but we knew if they respond and feel in first few episodes then they get stick to it.We got tremendous support from the channel.The initial round of promotion play biggest role in taking the show to people.The campaign,they did was tremendous,then followed up by great writing and performances.We had tough competition from big shows.When we launched the show there was 3 big shows around us and this show was not considered as the main stream show because didn't had big stars.We managed to shout and get audience and retained them with our good story telling.We said the story honestly and the performances were natural.The set up was very real.Punjab was shown in a very realistic way with lot of detailing.I think that paid off.Now we completed 2 years.We had been top of the slot and slot leader for about 99% of time.That itself is huge motivation for us." From veera team who is your favourite? "Harshita Bhavesh,the kids who playes veera and ranveer are my favourite.They were so adorable.Yesterday I called both of them to the set when we cut cake.I want them to cut cake,because they play huge role in heading Veera.Then the other kids are also my favourite ones.The guy who played Baldev is good.Vishal,Farnaz,Digangana,Shivin and Sneha everybody is wonderful.Yajuvendra who played Balwant,he started his career under me.Everybody is close to me.They are like extended family for me and Mamta." Talking about shows,you have been produced 'Veera' and all of them are youth oriented shows.Any specific reason for choosing youth oriented shows? "Veera is my 15th show.Before that we have done lot of desi shows also.Somewhere we feel that youth is the audience of today and they will be main audience tomorrow.As a company we believe that one has to look for the next 5 years trend than looking at last 5 yrs trend.If we look at last 5 yrs trend then it's already over exposed.Youth is going to be main stream.India has huge youth population.They are the people who can attract them towards television otherwise tomorrow we will not have any audience for tv because old audience will get retired at some point of time from watching TV.It is always better to have new audience because new audience doesn't come with any pre-concieve notion so we do youth show.The next 2-3 shows are lined up are again youth show.So i think as production house,we conciously try but at the same time if we should see audience profile of Veera we have both generation audience.Old generation people are also watching Veera religiously.I keep getting letters from so many people.Thousands of letters we recieve every month.A good story is important and characters i think should be younger.They should be aspirational and have a connect with audience.I think as a producer,production house is responsible to bring a new audience which most of time is youth." In all your shows which character is very close to you? "Every character is from heart.I think without feeling no character can come up.In my opinion most sensual character so far is Sanyukta,apart from 'Veera'.Veera is supported by lot of content whereas Sanyukta characters stood out alone.That is very different character.Most popular character might be Veera because it's a desi show and lots of credits goes to little Harshita." If you have to make Veera with bollywood stars,whom would you like to cast? "Ranvijay- Ranveer singh,Baldev-Arjun kapoor,Veera- Parineeti chopra,Gunjan- Anushka Sharma or Sonam Kapoor." i guess he must have had ishazaade in mind when he said their names lol😆 and i dont like arjun kapoor as baldev🤢 i was highly offended by that nomination, i mean i get that he probably nominated him cuz of the rough tough characters he has played in his movies, but baldev.. he is completely differant altogether, he is rough, tough, irresistibly hot, beyond cute, funny, adorable, mischeivous, crazy,full of life, baby like and heart warming all in one and i dont see that in AK, infact i cannot imagine anyone in the role of baldev except for vishal, baldev and vishal are a match made in heaven some roles are made for some people and that is the case with baldev, no one can do baldev the way vishal does! But if i had to choose and among the choices of yash uncle, ranveer singh is better suited for baldev😊

I think Ranbir kapoor fits as baldev. And i m nt unable to imagine other heroine in role of veera. I may sound too biased,bt habit ho gai hai voice ki
