The Arrest

"You're under arrest," the officer said, cuffing her hands behind her back.

She had been leading a protest in the local park, after the town's mayor announced the decision to turn the land into a hotel for the tourists.

"Anything you say can and will be held against you," he read her the miranda rights, before adding a small part of his own. Leaning down, he whispered in her ear, "So only say my name."

She huffed and gave him a dirty look, only to receive a wink in return.

"Khushi, please," Arnav said, walking over to her, as she was washing the dishes, and wrapping his arms around her waist, only to get slapped on his wrist for his efforts.

"You arrested me!" she said, with much indignation.

"We arrested a lot of people," he explained, whining. "I couldn't just let you go. I made sure that charges weren't pressed, didn't I?"

"I personally think you only arrested me so that you could take advantage of me," she replied cheekily. "Must have been a fantasy of yours, Officer Raizada. One you failed to inform me of."

"What the..." he exclaimed. "To take advantage? Of my own wife?"

"Yes!" she said, turning to face him with a smirk. "What was it? Anything I say can and will be held against me?"

"So..." he replied, matching her smirk. "Say my name."

"Arnav," she said, her eyes twinkling mischievously.

He pulled her into his arms and went on to fulfill his promise.
