Amit's performance

Amit was good..but not at his best today.

I think the reason was that all the contestants before him gave mind blowing performances except Abhishek,so he thought judges will expect a lot from him and when that burden is on one, one never does it perfectly.
e.g. Sachin Tendulkar..we expect so much from him..but he fails to deliver every time..so it happens..so Amit should be safe today.

I wanted to sum up amit's performance today without being bias. He started off well enough, liked his strong start, after the second line was over he looked a little lost, then his voice lost the strength. At the beginning of the second versus he forgot his line. Then the real problem started. He was looking up and down and looked very very low on self confidence. He picked up in the end but it was too later into the song that people didn't notice that.
If you listen it with your eyes closed then you'll probably like it much better. It was his nervousness that ruined it. He didn't go out of pitch at all but the bad song choice was giving him a tough time I guess. He knew he won't be able to do justice to it before he went on stage I'm sure.
Anyway one can't expect him to be on the top of his game all the time. Hopefully next week he'll be back, and do wonders just like in the past. So amit fans I hope you guys voted for him to keep him in the game. Lets pray that next week he comes on stage and enjoys himself.
He wasn't nervous cos of the others but i heard from a friend of his brother that he was nervous cos he was wondering if he would be able to top his last 5 performances with this one. he was nervous about all the expectations from him. now he has lowered the bar and next week he can come back with a breathtaking performance again. All the luck in the world to you amit.

i agree with you 100% pryia..he had such a high bar to overcome..and to tell you the truth he honeslty didnt really sing that bad.. classical has always been a weaknes of his...im a huge fan so i may sound bias..but his voice was still as perfect as ever...he was jsut getting nervous..he even said he was scared before...watch next week hes going to rock it..give the guy another chance..he deserves to be there...he works so hard and he went from mindblowing to excellent..only a bit down from the huge expectations we given him..give him a break please..but i think best performance todays was parshant..he gave me chills..

i think that Amit sang okay today...could have been better...he was not confident about the song which showed in his eyes n when he forgot a few words...He was nervous during the beginning but he gained confidence towards the end..i would rate the perfomance 7 out of 10

I think Amit had a chance to show his versatality today but he didn't utilize it. But I'm 100% sure that he will be in the next gala and give a rocking performance.

HONESTLY Amit wasnt "bad". He just wasn't "awesome". Even with this performance, i still rate him the best singer there! If he cant sing this song.....Nobody else can either.

Sayin that, just cuz he wasnt "awesome" one week doesnt mean he shud be in the bottom four or anywhere near there. I expect his fans to CONTINUE their strong supoort.

It disgusts me to see certain people puttin him in the bottom this week. He was still better than the likes of Abhishek, Deepali, and Ankita. To be honest didnt like Puja either! Her voice is like a baby! She is not indian idol or playback material.

Also, Amit's song is not a very good song either, you really cant tell anythign with it. I really hate the song, but he still did not. He needs to pick a song where he can show his skills.

His voice quality is so good that, even with all the flaws I quite liked his rendition. In the middle he goofed up..but he pickedup in the end.....but I quite enjoyed his performance. Even his worst sounds SOOO good...so high is his bar.

As I said..he is pukka playback material. In recording rooms they have retakes..

I even love Deepali's voice texture. Her performance was good too. Emon goes too classical that make light singing a bit technical.

I am sad Parleen is out.

Amit is still Tops with me as yet.

Completely agree it wasn't terrible...wasn't amazing...
Its a situational song, not really one that will have people crying, getting emotional etc.

I liked Amit's version of Omkara. It was good. 😛
