Today's episode was better than what I had expected the CVs
Jodha was tensed whether Salim will still be angry with her after all these years and full palace preparing and many princess want to marry him(did you see them Salim will run back to battle if these princesses will be married to him đđź not one has class forget looks)
I did not understand why the voiceover was saying Salim never came back for 7 years did not Akbar sent him off to learn battle field skills and not allow him to come back so long till he was an expert warrior đ
Anyways Salim arrived and looked at his masa only first thank God for small mercies rather CVs. He went straight to Jodha and touched her legs again something he never did as a child đ˛ who thought him this to touch elders legs đ and Jodha did his arthi and blessed him(reminded me of scene when Jodha came back from Mathura track)
Jodha told how happy she was that he first came to her(why should she say all this? đ˛ purani yaad kyun dilana) and he says I came to muz first not ammijaan and embraced Ruqs đĄ (Lucky boy he has Jodha Akbar as mom nyone else would have made hungama)
Akbar(what a father? ) wanted to see son's battle skills and wanted to do sword practice đ˛ (really did you forget son has come back after long journey no water no food no rest first sword fight) and both have sword fight and Akbar almost defeats him and Salim hurts his hand. I did not understand what Salim said something like this sword would be in your chest if you were my enemy? something) and Akbar was so happy and praised him đ˛ (like I said father son relation is complex in past post not like father daughters and you never know when these fight and when they became friends)
Anyways its night and Murad, Daniyal and Qutub go and meet Salim and say recognise us. Salim says Murad - are you still killing birds? Murad says no ways not since you left agra ask Daniyal and turns to him. Daniyal says how do I know ask Qutub and turns to him. Salim smiles so you are Qutub, murad and daniyal how can I forget my 4 best friends and brothers come and hug me and all four hug. Salim says so haider is still missing.
Salim goes to his room(wow what a room all white atlast a real royal bedroom kind in JA) and he starts shivering and falls and goes to bed and takes opium box and eats it and says "this is my only companion from childhood" and falls on bed tired.
Liked- Salim touching mom feet, brothers bonding
Disliked- Salim calling Ruq ammijaan, Ak-Salim sword fight, Salim addiction to opium
Missing- A good scene bet mom-dad and Salim on first day may be Jodha getting his fav food and feeding him, Akbar talking to him about these 7 years and how both parents missed him, Jodha singing lori and putting him to sleep. Nothing no bonding nothing that happens if a person comes back frst day after 7 years back that too own son.
Future- I think anarkali will remove his addiction to opium and make him close to Jodha
Thank God not much fight shown bet Salim and parents
