MaNan and Understanding of Love

I agree with your opinion, as per usual.😆

Just because Manik can't label it as 'love' doesn't mean that he doesn't know the depth of his feelings. The only love Manik has known in his life really as far as we know is that of his mom and Aaliya. His relationship with Nyonika is so complicated and I think it totally screwed up what love is to Manik.

And it makes him reject that word 'love' because as far as he has experienced that word means having to fight back and pain and being ready for some sort of horrible 'give and take' relationship as he said today. Remember when he was speaking to Nandhu about give and take and agreed that 'they' are not in a give and take relationship (in the drama room when Harshad was attacking him)- whereas today with Nyonika he talked about how their relationship is about give and take and asked what she wanted for fixing his hand- very significant if you ask me.

As for Aaliya, I don't doubt Manik had some feelings for her but I think it's that comfortable friendship turns into love/ puppy love thing. And she was definitely more into the relationship and labeling it as love then she was.

With Nandhu, he knows it's different, he is different in the relationship. The Manik we first met, 'monster' Manik would never be so vulnerable or open as Nandhu's Manik is. I think the thing is that Manik knows what he feels but he refuses to label it because calling it 'love' would mean attaching it to those other relationships. But he knows how he feels, and that's the most important thing.

Manik in general is just confused about what love means and what it is. Remember when Nandhu was talking to him about RAGBIR's love after the Diwali party and how it just happens and he said 'that's what Cabir said.' He did not agree or disagree like he mostly does. Just 'that's what Cabir said.' For Manik Cabir and now Nandhu are the people that give him the kind of conversations he listens to. Hopefully once again, it will happen.

But this is a good direction for the story, I agree with you. It's a fresh start for them both together which will bring an understanding of how much they really mean to the other person and how much they are willing to fight for that relationship. Because we all know no matter how much they try to ignore each other, or fight they ill always end up back together. And there are still lots of things to keep bringing them towards each other even if they try to ignore it- like Rishab's situation and the connection with Dhruv , the fact that the Fab 5 is generally okay with Nandhu now and I am very sure Cabir will also try to bring them together as well.

I actually think this is a lead up to the DHRULIYA storyline and the previous spoiler about them bringing MANAN together. So that will be fun. Because Dhruv is not that dumb- he heard Manik obsess over Nandhu in the hospital , saw their hand holding when Cabir was there, and I think Nandhu's prayer after his surgery as well. I am sure he will be able to put it all together. And Cabir will always be there to guide everyone in the right direction- hopefully things work out for him again soon.

Looking forward to MUKBHI- would love to see her being chased and made to feel like a girl who is wanted.

All in all, good things are coming in KY2 and I am very excited for ti.
