Guys
I am feeling extremely positive looking at the past two weeks
I've watched the show when it started and then switched on again before a fortnight
I've felt huge difference. Let me summarize how i've felt both the times:
I will describe how i felt when i watched when the show started:
1) I felt, okay here we go again , same concept same story, like many other love-hate shows that has angry young man with a DARK past and an innocent damsel in distress,
2) I have watched Harshad in most of his past shows, but initially i didnt get that IMPACT , you know what i mean😉 with his performance, so i was not sure if he would carry on with this new character SAHIR successfully
3) I didnt feel the CONNECT or the chemistry or the "ONENESS" or whatever you call between the two leads, i found female lead a little stiff
4) Main reason i felt was from shivya's part, i found her connecting easily with zaki (remember this is from the first few episodes, wait to bash me untill you read my recent experiences)
5) harshad was good in performance atleast he was trying but i found shivya quite simple
6) too less scenes between the leads ( which is very important to start and build up the show) this was the main reason i could not hook on to this show
Let me tell you how i feel when i switched on to see what's going on with this show since im just surfing around , not hooked onto any other show
!) HARSHAD , i am so pleasantly surprised with harshad, i dont blame you gals for loving SAHIR so passionately, he is too far gone into this character of SAHIR, that i can only see sahir and no harshad, sahir has literally creeped into the skin of harshad , so what i see is not harshad trying or acting to be sahir, but he is living sahir right now, and hence i wont say that he is a good performer but i would rather say he is being sahir right now. and okay i will stop but when an actor lives the character, viewers like me get instant connection with him/her, in this case the actor/ character being HIM is a bonus for me😉 to watch
2) LEAD CHEMISTRY: yes i can feel the ease on shivya's part , i would say that hospital HUG did wonders to the chemistry😛😉
3) now we can see comparatively more scenes between the lead, and hence its very enjoyable to watch them together
4) very good /extraordinary performance on SAHIR's part ( since i equate harshad=sahir) so
5) shivya matching sahir
SO what i feel is that even though the trps have decreased from 0.4 to 0.3, i am positive that this is to stay because
1) viewers like me who were initially turned off or were not interested / attracted will start attracting due to REAL LIFE performances from SAHIR
2) im hopeful that now we will see both the leads in one frame more and more, which will draw the romance loving demographic to the show
3) chemistry has improved ever since that HUG and im positive that the chemistry is going to explode as female lead is getting comfortable being with harshad ( i can imagine how difficult it is to not feel NERVOUS 😉 around harshad as SAHIR)
4) i dont mind zaki and KA or sam or anam because then i appreciate both the leads in the same frame even with nonsensical script or track or whatever
5) im glad that finally nausin (mom of female lead and her sob story is getting less screen space) i seriously hope that arzoo's family find a place of their own and leave arzoo to look for sahir continuously for all kind of her needs
6) i like sahir's mom -alvira, i wish to see her bonding more and more with arzoo after the marriage
7) i wouldnt mind sahir going darker and darker, i in fact would like this MU between the leads continue, provided that these two stick with each other and do whatever to each other, hurt. pamper, love, hate, shout, romance, but we get maximum screen space for them atleast 10 minutes each episode
due to these and my intuition i feel that we will continue enjoying sahir and saaz
ps i enjoy reading many of your posts, ya i am stalking this forum since days
