Why is Star Plus ignoring Ek Haseena Thi?

The show never promoted by the channel, nor the media. Still it managed to pull down one of the top show,Jodha Akbar and maintained its place in trps chart.

And now when the show is ending, they are completely ignoring it. No promos for the last week, nothing? 😕

Why Star Plus hate Ek Haseena Thi? 😆 Probably because it is not one of their regular saas bahu saga. 🤢

We have all been wondering abt this, discussing the reasons for Star Plus' stepmotherly treatment towards EHT. They even forced the show to end 3 months early!

EHT won so many awards at ITA, SP Awards, ITAA in best show, best actress, best negative role categories.

Any other channel would be so proud of a show like this which won multiple awards within 6 months of its start.

Still SP seems to be embarassed abt this show, they never promoted it like it does for its other shows.

EHT is neither a saas bahu saga, nor a family drama, nor a romantic tale...its a revenge drama full of twists and turns with an unusual heroine and villain, perhaps thats why SP didnt like it?

Who knows...it doesnt make sense.

In place of a successful show with famous stars, which gave them high trps, they are starting a show with unknown faces, which will probably be a flop...does that make business sense? 😕

We all have same question since last few weeks!

EHT did manage to make a dent in ratings of other 8 PM shows. And it is in top 5 shows of SP and overall top 10 on TV.

It always tops in UK and beats even Bigg Boss and CNWK there!

7 awards in 6 months, good reviews, real life popularity of actors, characters and their clothes, accessories, dialogues etc. Why still SP had problem with it? Why no promotions at all?

Infact till last month they were not even showing repeat telecast!

I suspect the production house and channel had a fall out. But what could be the reason?

The team also seems sad at the way the show is being closed down.

If they had problem with content then they could have shifted it to later time slot then force it to end.

Shows are promoted a lot when they are ending. But SP is not even promoting its finale! Same question as you - WHY so?😕

shows with good concept get shut down within a yr or so and crappy saas bahu shows run for 5+ years till they get shut down. SP continued with its actual logo "Rishta woyi soch woyi" instead soch nayi and it will be in the future
