You may find it hard to believe but I actually saw some really good potential in Tanu's character. She could have been a prime example of how working woman are and how the glamour and competitiveness of modelling industry changes a person. Many would say that why the hell would anyone watch that. the serial is about Abhigya. Agreed. But doesn't that doesn't mean other characters cannot be explored. Now that's a different thing that no one actually dares to do such things in our Television industry. Because all we ever care about is the lead and their chemistry. No effing way should any other person even have a chance to either get the hero or the heroine. It is always destined at 1st glance that she is the lead, he is the hero and they are meant to be together. But I for one would have loved some back story on Tanu. Like why exactly her career is more important to her than Abhi. I watched a K-drama sometime back called Nice guy. The hero in it was in love with a woman so much that when she accidently kills a man in self-defence he takes up the blame destroying his promising medical future. This woman marries a rich old man when the hero is in jail. But that man's daughter who is also the heroine is a shrewd business woman and is extremely cold to her step mother and her son. In the beginning this woman didn't want the money that belongs to the heroine but soon she realises that if she does not fight than when her husband dies the heroine will throw her and her son onto the streets. So she starts fighting back turning evil. Here you feel for her a bit because even though she betrayed the man who took her blame for her she is not happy and also her choices are driven by her phobia of poverty considering she is the daughter of a prostitute and her brother is a gambler who used to beat her up for money. There were times when she had to go hungry to sleep. Didn't this same reason make us forgive Scarlett O'Hara's mistakes in Gone with the wind? So her reason to choose not to marry him for her career seems nice. Also if she loved only Abhi only for money and didn't want to be successful on her own why didn't she just take up Abhi's offer and marry him? Also her asking Abhi to marry Pragya on Aliyah's insistence could have been shown with more emphasis on their friendship. It was all for Aliyah so why not show some really good genuine moments between them other than them always plotting together or lying together. Is it too much to ask for genuine friendship between women in an Indian show? After all this woman had a career and she gave of every indication in the beginning of the show to have her independence. Was it really necessary to turn her into a person born with vampire teeth and devil's horns? She could still have plotted with Aliyah but her actions could have the motivation of insecurity rather than making it seem like troubling and humiliating Pragya is the only mission of her life.

Also why was that project she was supposed to do not shown, for which she turned down Abhi's offer to marry? Or was it shown and I missed it? The only time I saw her working was when that new actress was given the role and she screwed up. Also I found it so weird that they just threw her out of the project. I thought it was contract based. So shouldn't it kind of full proof where you suddenly can't replace her.

And while we are at it why has Pragya still not joined the college? Is she on maternity leave by any chance? Hope not or Abhi may again start getting into weird misunderstandings. Just now one of them got cleared. I can't take more.😕

Anyways its bye for now.

-Love Ayuzawa.
