Mahima Chowdhary's little girl is named Dia by her paternal grandfather, Lucky Mukherjee

Mahima Chowdhary and Bobby Mukherjee were blessed with a baby girl on June 10, 2007. Recently, the baby girl was named Dia by Bobby's father, Lucky Mukherjee, after a small family function.

Says a source close to the family, "The Mukherjees had a small pooja at their residence. The name was selected by Bobby's father."

The baby's grandfather, Lucky Mukherjee confirmed the news and said, "Yes, we did have a family ceremony with close family members, where we named the baby Dia."

The Mukherjee family is ecstatic on being blessed with a girl after 50 years. Lucky Mukherjee exclaimed, "I am thrilled to have a granddaughter! It's after 50 years, after the birth of my sister, that there has been a girl in the family. She is lovely and has beautiful long fingers!"

And that's not all as far as celebrations are concerned. The family will have another grand ceremony after a few months. Says the senior Mukherjee, "In our community, there is no special 'naming neremony'. But, we do have 'mukhe

Bobby Mukherjee

bhaat' which is the first big ceremony for the baby, which happens after the baby is six-months-old and starts recognising people. That's the first time when she will taste rice. That is when a formal name will be given to her as well. Dia will be her nickname, like Lucky is mine and Bobby is her father's."

Mahima is currently staying with her mother. Says Lucky Mukherjee, "Officially she is with us but in my house there is no elderly woman to help her out with the daily chores involved in the rearing of a baby. So, Mahima is staying with her mother till the baby grows up a bit. But they both visit us often."

"Also Bobby's home, which is being done up, will be ready within a few months," he says.

Yes she does, and that is very normal for any new Mom in India who lives with her parents anywhere between 2-6 months after the birth to get better care for herself and the baby.

well, anyways, I think Mahima could've been married with hot and cute looking like arjun rampal 😳 😆 but I guess love is blind 😆
