celebrity mountanier ! for real?

no matter how much i love Arjun this thing always seems to unrealistic to me, do you really know the names of recent most successful mountaineers of world? the way people are taking Arjun's autographs look like he is a Bollywood hero or a star cricketer before this show i never knew there is any term called celebrity mountaineer

i dun knw from whicvh place u r but i hail from haryana and mountaineering is luved sport here n yes i know a few recent mountaineers from here n i can identify them.
so its not extinct
plus u r forgetting the fact that mr. roongta has alteady done a publicity hype in the serial and arjun looks are a bonus to it

but are the mountaineers clebrity there? in Bengal there are many mountanieering clubs but we generally get to know the names if there is any accident

Most people wouldn't know. But look at it in the context of this show - Roongta's company Century Corp is famous. And by making Arjun a brand ambassador, he's only added to his fame. So it makes sense.

So if u follow people out there you will be knowing...
The famous personalities are called celebrities in some cases..
So yeah I feel this is valid...

Actually I'm not much awared about mountaineering or mountaineers but here it was shown he was branded by Roongta.. I each field there will be any person he /she must be a star or a wonderful performer in their profession.. Here just like it goes for mountaineering, I agree that I don't know about mountaineering or any institute going for mountaineering course but only. after watching this show.. Then I surfed and got many information regards mountaineering.. Like other sports mountaineers also had same type of strategic management and that goes for picking up best performers.. So here Arjun's reason is much reasonable being a celebrity mountaineer..

That depends. Talking about celebs I fail to identify the majority of contestants from Big Boss. They are still called celebrities.

People who go on those Himalayan bike races know the famous names in their circuit. The general populace would have zilch idea about them.
