This forum does have wonderful writers and the breadth and variety of talent continues to amaze me. I think we are very lucky.

loved it so much. why did you call it interlude? that i didn't get. but i loved the huffy cooking scene, the atmospheric description of the creepy mansion (so much showing instead of telling, i don't even know how to tell you, just that it worked 😃), the easy exposition of backstory (no infodumping! i love you!), and the dynamic starting to...simmer? between them. basically, awesome update! i will reread and let it settle in mind a bit more. the first read through i was just so tense to know what happened, i probably missed some of your cleverness. heehee. LOVE this story kat and so glad you decided to write on kkb! i could dance! eee! ⭐️

Pragya saying you are not a beast is wow. loved it!

I mean, I know there's a part-b to this but still...!!! Oiny wants more and Oiny means Me..and me wants more, yesss..basss final!!!

And you wouldn't believe, I was drinking coffee meself when I read that - " the caffeine filled brew made from java beans " line and I laughed out so loud that my coffee mug wobbled a bit but thank God din't go off balance or else me Mum would have strangled me 😆

But awww..poor Abhi became emosanal (yess I write it like that 😆)..maybe his Daadi made coffee like that..cos in the show, she does..so I just made 1 + 1 - 2 (intelligent me)

But am so glad that Pragya here sees more to him than the supposed beast he thinks himself to be..!! And you have to continue with part - b soon soon sooon!!!!

Really nice update Kat I like how he is starting talk a bit more to her now, I hope he tells her what happened slowly, when he says the coffee reminded him of someone it was sad, I liked how he just ate the food poor guy I'm guessing no one makes hot food for him

Ah, Abhi's soft heart was revealed so perfectly amidst the beastie outlook he has carved around. That coffee memory, the tears in his eyes scene was powerful. Pragya got through him in her first interaction itself. Now I guess she will open him up layer by layer. Can't wait to know more of his past and him actually realizing how she is affecting him!
