It had been six months since she had gotten married and everything was not as bad as she thought it would be. Raman's family was amazing. His mother and father were very loving, understanding and protective parents, his brother Romi was very stubborn and naughty but he had a good heart. His sister was very bubbly outgoing person with a nice personality that's until you pissed her off of course. She did have a temper on her just like her brother. And oh yes there leaves Raman, he was his usually self, grumpy and as always in a weird mood. Aditya was a spitting image of his father and quite frankly just as stubborn. But behind that exterior was a very sad, hurt and confused boy who would do anything for the sake of his little sister. And that leaves Ruhi, who had become the light of their lives. She had slowly come out of her shell since Adi moved back home and Ishita had moved in. She was her bubbly self and Ishita could see the Ruhi that Raman so frequently talked about was coming back. She still had spells when she would zone out and would hold her brother's hand to calm herself down but that had changed a little. She would sometimes say a word or two to Ishita and spent most of her time in her brother's room.

Raman felt good knowing his kids were getting a long and could not help but wonder how Ishita had managed to do so much in such a little time. He still felt bad because both his kids could never really talk to him. Ruhi could not because of some reason and Adi just because he did not want to. But no matter what at least both his kids were with him and that's all that mattered.

It was movie night, something Ishita and Ruhi had introduced where all four of them went to Ruhi's room to watch a movie. Friday nights were reserved for the Raman Kumar Bhalla family so other family members were not invited. They understood what Ishita and Raman were trying to do so they would leave and go to The Chandrans who were the couple that lived next door.

Ruhi was excited about today's movie night just as always but Raman and Aditya not so much. She somehow managed to convince Raman as he understood why she was doing that and he would pretty much do anything for his children. As for Aditya blackmail always worked so she told him that
' If you do not show up for this movie night then I will tell Ruhi it was because of you that movie night got cancelled. She was so excited and since Raman says he won't show up unless you do it means movie night flops. Ruhi is going to be so sad given the fact that you're leaving tomorrow'' She said

Ishita knew Adi would do anything for his sister so she knew no matter how angry he was with Raman there is nothing he would not do for his sister.

'Fine tell Ruhi I will be there. I am doing this for Ruhi not HIM.'' He said angrily.

She left Aditya's room went to prepare for the snacks. They were going to watch the movie in Ruhi's room so she had to make sure that everything was ready. Ruhi's room was a room within Raman's room which was on the right had side of the room. In fact if the door was looked and you walked into Raman's room at first glance one would think that was just a closet door if not for the entrance door in Ruhi's room that was rarely used. When Ruhi started having her nightmares Raman renovated his room making a doorway to the room adjacent to his bedroom for his daughter just so she would not be so scared in the middle of the night. After they got married that become Ishita's room as well.

'Ruhi baby come take the bowl of popcorn upstairs I will get the drinks'' Ishita said

'Ji Ishima'' she answered as she took the bowl and went up stairs

Ishita soon followed and found everyone had already settled down as the movie was just about to start.

'Come Ishima it's about to start'' she said with popcorn in her month

'Ruhi do not talk with food in your mouth'' said Aditya

'Sorry Bhai'' Ruhi answered

Raman watched his family and was still in awe of how much had changed over the last 6 months. Ishita was really kind and sweet and probably did not understand what she had given him. He watched as both his kids who were staring at the television and could not help but swell up inside because he knew something that he probably would not have guessed in a million years and it was the fact that Ishita was a God sent. He turned around to see her sitting by his side and she caught him staring at her

'Kya'' she asked

'How did you manage to get him here? I mean Aditya how did you manage to get him here?'' he whispered

'What can I say I am more likable than you.'' She whispered smilingly

'Ha ha very funny come on tell me'' he whispered again

'shush the movie has begun'' and with that she smiled at him turned to look at the television

Raman looked at his smiling wife and couldn't help but think to himself how she always managed to get her way when it came to Aditya or any member of the family except Simi of course she wasn't easily conned. He smiled to himself and turned around to watch the movie as well.

They had watched the first movie and got done with it and half way through the second one Ishita realized that the Ruhi and Aditya where sleeping and so was their father. She looked at them and could help but feel good at the picture she was seeing. She took out her phone and took at picture before she walked over to the wardrobe to get a blanket big enough for all three. She covered them all and proceeded to her room to freshen up and go to bed.

Ishita woke up early because she knew Adi wanted to be at the airport early waiting for his mother who was supposed to come early and take Aditya as the holidays had begun. She walked to the kitchen to prepare breakfast for everyone before they set off for the airport.

'Are Ishita beta good morning'' said raman's mother

' Good Moring SaaS'' replied Ishita

'Arre yaar do not call me SaaS. At least call me Ammi seriously I won't mind'' she replied

' Sorry Sa ... I mean Ammi. Good morning'' she replied

'Ahh ha see that was not that hard was it. Besides if you and Raman did something about it then I will give the righty to call me dadiji'' she said teasingly as Ishita could help blush at the thought of her and Raman having a child which surprised her as she knew for a fact that was never going to happen.

' Ooh Santosh-ji please stop teasing my bahu. Good morning beti'' said Raman's dad as he walked to the dining room

'Good morning Sasuji Can I get you something.'' She asked

'Yes a cup of ginger tea please'' he answered

'No Ishita I will get that go wake up Ruhi and tell Raman to come down stairs I need to talk to him before you leave for the airport.''

'' Ji Ammi'' she answered smilingly

Ishita walked to the bed room only to find Raman still in bed with his daughter and son cutely cuddled in his embrace. She walked up to them and said

'Ruhi baby, Adi beta wake up we will be late. Raman come one you are going to be late as well. Come on wake up'' Ishita said as she tried to wake up her very sleepy daughter, son and husband.

'mmmhhh ek minute please Ishita'' Aditya muttered still sleepy

'Oho Aditya you were so excited about today. Have you forgotten you are going to meet your mother today.'' As soon as she said that he just out of bed and started to run out of the room saying

'Why didn't you wake me up''

'Ruhi time to wake up too, come up you too up up up'' she said. 'Raman ...''

'What are you a human alarm. Just a few more seconds'' Raman muttered fuzzily

Ruhi on the other hand lazily woke up rubbing her eyes as she walked to her room to get ready. Ishita helped Ruhi get ready and sent her down stairs to have her breakfast. She then walked back to Raman's room who she found still asleep

'Raman come on wake up. Even the kids are up seriously wake up'' Ishita said

' Arre chup yaar just a few more seconds'' he muttered agitated

'You have been saying that for the last 45 minutes. Seriously wake up'' She said as Raman just pulled the blanket over his head. She looked at him with a naughty look in her eyes and went to the kitchen. She came back with a glass of water and put it beside Raman's bed. She slowly pulled off the blanket and started to sprinkle cold water on Ramans face.

'aahhh what the hell'' he woke up agitated. She saw the expression on his face and could not help but start to laugh

'Wait till I show you'' He grabbed her by right hand and pulled her over to him in way the she ended up on top of him faces close to each other, so close their noses could almost touch. She became uneasy and tried to pull back but he just held her even harder.

When she finally looked up at him, he saw her eyes and that was the first time he had actually realized that they were hazel, sparkly and absolutely beautiful. Like something else had taken over him he turned her around and lay on top of her instead while still looking into her eyes and said

'I never noticed how gorgeous your eyes are and how flawlessly your face glows in the morning''

' wha... kya... huh ...'' she said a bit confused. But before she could even gather what was going on Raman got up from the bed and walked into the bathroom.

Raman got into the bathroom not understanding what was happening on. He looked in to the mirror and said to himself

'What the hell was that?''

He knew that that sparkly character of hers always rubbed off on everyone and it was just a matter of time before it rubbed off on him too. But he knew better than to even go down that route.

'Come one Raman just 3 Years and this is through. But how can you help it. She looked absolutely beautifull and those beautiful crimson lips and oh that georgeous...'' He thought

'Ahhh No Raman Stop it. What the hell is wrong with me today?'' he said to himself as he turned on the shower and walked back to the room cursing his luck as there was no towel in the bathroom.

Meanwhile Ishita was in blushing galore town and she did not even know her way back. What he had said kept on playing in her mind and she couldn't help but just blush some more. She slowly walked to Ruhi who was trying to tell her something

'Ishima shoes come on. I am getting late.''

'Right baby sorry here let me help you'' she finally got out of her stance and decided to help her daughter who was going on a school picnic as she had pleadingly asked Raman to allow her go because she wanted to spend time with her friends. Ishita knew better and understood Ruhi did not want to meet her mother.

'Where the hell is my towel'' he said as he walked into the room clearly pretending like nothing happened

'uhhfoo Ishima bye now the bus is outside. I love you'' Ruhi kissed Ishita on the cheek and she started running out of the room

'Ruhi what about Papa, Wont you Say bye'' Ishita said

She watched as she saw Raman clearly take a deep breath and wait for his daughter. She so wished Ruhi could at least say goodbye to him because she knew how much he had waited for his daughter to say something to him. It had almost been a year and a half.

Ruhi abruptly stopped running and turned around to look at her father and then back at her Ishima

Raman figured maybe she was finding it difficult so he turned to Ishita and said

'No its okay'' Then he said to Ruhi

'My Princess please take care of yourself okay'' and he turned around to leave clearly dejected but before he took another step, he felt her pat his leg. He turned around and watched her as she signaled him to get down.

He got down on one knee and watched her not knowing what she was going to do. She then put down her bag and walked up to her father and embraced him in a warm hug. He just stayed still not sure what to do whether to hold her back or just stay still

'Papa Ishima says usually when someone hugs you, you put your arms around them and hug them back.'' She said sweetly

Raman had tears in his eyes as he held his daughter in his embrace

'Papa I love you and bye now I have to go'' she said as she struggled to get out of his embrace

'Ohh sorry ' he said clearly emotional as he let go of her

Ruhi grabbed her bag and started to walk out when she turned around and saw her dad with tears in his eyes. She turned around and walked back to her dad wiped his tears and kissed him on the cheek then she finally ran out.

Ishita had never seen Raman that emotional because since they met he always tried to hide as it was a side of him he never wanted her to see since it indicated his weakness and the fact that he wasn't as tough as he seemed. But today was different, he was happy and clearly emotional and he did not even try and hide it. She watched him as he took a deep breath as if he had just run a marathon. She could see that something had clearly changed with him because of the relief in his eyes. They looked at each other and silently acknowledged they had achieved something amazing.
