Aish and Ajay. I love Salman but he ruined the film in certain parts. So annoying.

But voted for Ash since she had the meatiest role, showed two sides of her character, danced her heart away and looked the most beautiful. HDDCS is her film all the way! ❤️

Ash was a revelation. Such strong performance. I can see no one as nandani but her.

Ajay was really good especially in the climax

Salman was bad. He ruined the emotional sequences. His awkwardness in some of the most crucial scenes of the movie is very obvious

Ajay & Ash.

Ajay because it was one of his first commercial movies where he was recognised as a very talented actor & more importantly- Seen as the strong,silent & passionate lover. As Vanraaj, Ajay was immensely endearing & believable. He didn't make his character, essentially of a loser with an immensely high moral compass, as annoying & sappy. But he enacted Vanraaj brilliantly, so much so it made the audience fall in love with him & root for him. 😳

Then, Ash- This movie was Ash's route to success. As the naive, innocent Nandini, wearing those beautiful Gujraati lehengaas, she was BREATH-TAKING. SLB understands Ash, and how to extract her Best, in a way that no director does. ⭐️ 👍🏼

Salman was hawaa kaa jhokaa. Kabhi yahan, kabhi wahaan. 😆
